Is LJ going to turn this thing around or not???

Going into the season, expectations were through the roof with this guy, but he rushed for no more than 26 yards today against the steelers. I was lucky enough (at least i thought i was lucky in the beginning of the year) to snag him in fantasy football, but he's not producing...

Do you think he'll right the train, or will it continue getting worse??

T. Green may help him when he comes back, but I think the main difference is Saunders leaving and the retirement of Roaf. If i'm not mistaken, i think they also lost another OL due to retirement or out for the season with a injury.

I don't see things getting much better. But you never know once Green gets healthy.

yeah...he also lost his FB too, but i figured that he could produce with a still decent O-line, even w/o Roaf, and on pure, raw talent and ability alone...

I tend to agree though, it all depends on the influence of trent Green...but either way...LJ is a disappointment...

yeah, someone asked me who I would take with the #1 overall pick, LT, LJ, or Alexander. Seemed to me it was an easy pick, LT. Even though he had a new QB, he's still the best in the league, IMO. That #2 pick would have been a hard pick. Especially since Alexander has been hurt most of the season.

yeah, the top pick was LJ, and i would've taken LT, but i missed the draft, so the cp picked for me, and i got manning. and i somehow pulled off a trade involving manning to get LJ...I'm beginning to regret it.

I never thought he would come close to the pace he had last year. He's was hyped quite a bit, but he lost his coordinator, lost lineman and then lost his QB. In my fantasy rankings I didn't think he would be top five this year because of all those things, but the media ran his hype through the roof and the only way it could go was down. I think we'll find that both Larry, and Priest before him, were the products of the whole system and the other players that had been in place the last couple of years.

that makes sense, too bad that system is taking a while to kick in in Washington...hopefully the offense gets it going here soon.

and I'm probably gonna put LJ on the block...but we'll see...

Might have something to do with offensive lines and completely different playcalling from one year to another...
