Hey guys! I need your help!
Every week, I do a segment on one of the university's sports shows called Upon Further Review, and I do the fantasy studs and duds for each week. Now through week 6 I've been pretty dead on and accurate about the players I have chosen, but this week I am struggling for whatever reason. I don't like to pick the obvious players, like the Mannings and the Tomlinsons of the world, but rather an average player who looks to have a break out game.
Can anybody offer me any advice on the studs and duds for this week? I'd really appreciate it!

just out of curiosity...why do you see Rivers as a dud against the almighty KC defense?

I woould go with Leinert as a stud against an atrocious Raiders team. In fact Leinart, Edge, Boldin all should have breakout games.
Duds will be Brunell (obvious) but Portis as well. If DC gets behind they will have to throw alot and Portis will be under utilized again.

I talked it over with a few co-workers, and asked some other people for advice. (Though when I asked the eagles fan for studs, in typical iggle fan fashion he named pretty much every starter on offense for the birds...).
Dud:
Larry Johnson
Plaxico Burress
Stud:
Leinart
Dominic Rhodes (thanks fent)

I don't like taking more than one player from the same team or teams facing each other. I also don't like to repeat players, which is why players like, Jones-Drew, Wayne, Houshmanzadeh, and Owens are not options.

Noise and Ty law, DJ, Hali, Allen, and a few other good playmakers. They had a bad game at the steelers but rarely lose at home. Im going out on limb but I think KC will make rivers look like a young QB again. I could be wrong but we will see.

Roy WilliamsIf you have those two on there you may be able to throw Kitna in there as well against the jets. Although he is good for a int or 2 a game and I can see how that may be going out on a limb to call him a "stud".

this is a guy that took down the steeler's defense by himself and was taking it to the Ravens before Marty-ball kicked in. i just don't see a defense that has only looked good against San Fran and Denver, two teams that are nowhere near explosive offenses, stopping a guy who is leading a team that should be 5-0 right now.

I understand what you are saying but I guess we will just have to see what happens. I could be wrong but I think the kc D is decent and will play well at home after getting lit up.

Rivers is struggling like I said. :) Its early but just wanted to point it out lol.
edit: looks like I jinxed it. Rivers has 2 tds and an int and over 200 yrds...

Haha he did struggle some though. Half credit? They lost. I bet not too many people had that.
