Hi All- I have an excruciatingly boring new job. The company has very strict website controls, everything goes through the company site and it filters almost everything...on the positive side, I can get hailredskins.com to open, which shocked the heck out of me, since it won't let me open anything else on the www, but it won't let me post...so I can read to my heart's content, I just can't post from work. Any way around this?

do you see locks on the forums? Locks on the threads? What does it say when you try to post?

sorry, I forgot about the help forum...so what happens is, if I log in up top, it stays blank, it doesn't say, "Welcome AGibbsGirl"

If I try to reply to a post, it will give me the log in page, but it does nothing, the page stays the log in page.

I also noticed that at times today, I would show up as viewing a thread, but I was still unable to post.

I suppose I will need to go to Tools and change something in the options, but hopefully it won't get me in trouble.

It sounds like it may be a problem with cookies. Which browser is it? Internet Explorer? If so, what version is it?

try going to www.foxyproxy.net and then running hR out of that webpage. foxy proxy has gotten me around every single filter i've come across

it soiunds like hail2skins is corrrct about the cookies. it's probably a security block to kee data miners off the system try that foxyproxy as it may cache the cookie there for you.

Go back and look at your childish post from 10/7/2006. There are two of them. The first is post padding because you posted crap just to get to 50 (post padding - not allowed here). The 2nd was a direct insult to this entire board. Therefore, your post count was knocked all the way down. If you keep making such childish comments here or any other infraction, you will be banned without warning.

DCFU has restrictions on new users as well, so don't get high and mighty also.

Why does DCFU sound like a site that a Cowboy fan would run? :D

Anyway, I've never been able to post using any of the sites you've suggested, but I can still read, and so I lurk during the day and that's OK, it's better then being blocked all together, thanks for the help boys!
