No.

First hint: His shirt says something in arabic. And Robin Williams was doing a standup in Iraq.

And Robin Williams was doing a standup in Iraq. Those poor poor troops. Isn't just being in a war bad enough.:(

I get the joke but I cheated. I used google, but at least I get it. I don't think people will get it unless they know what the shirt says.

Yeah, that's where the joke lies...

Alright, enough already.

The shirt says, "I love New York City" in arabic.

I like the shirt, (also kind of looks like <3 w! ) but have we reached the arbitrary point in time in which we can begin making 9/11 jokes?

Hawgz, I think Robin Williams still does pretty good standup. I remember the HBO special from a few years ago where he was curling his elbow around his face to demonstrate a certain sexual act, freakin' brilliant and cracked me up for days. Now it's another thing if they were to show recent Robin Williams films to the troops. RV!

I don't mind most of his movies, but I would rather gargle with razor blades than have to watch him squinch his face up do a cartoon voice and then laugh at himself. I hate it when a comedian laughs at himself repeatedly on stage.

Damn it, I knew the answer but I got to the thread late.
Why is it funny though?

Because he's performing in Iraq.

have we reached the arbitrary point in time in which we can begin making 9/11 jokes?I'm not there yet. I still can't watch film or video clips from that day.

And unfortunately I despise Robin Williams in all his forms.

But who's it aimed at? Us for having troops there or the terrorist for destroying NYC...Like maybe Robin is saying "the heck with you we still love America?"

I'm dumb when it comes to political humor! But then I'm a Republican which is a big joke these days in and of itself.....

Pass on Man of the Year, it is horrible. All the funny bits are in the trailer and the movie isn't really even a comedy. It's actually a thriller.

I know, this sounds completely absurd, but it is true. I just thank God I got to see it for free.

I took it as a sign of support for our troops. So that would mean that he's poking fun at the terrorists.
