RFK - Redskins Fan Klub Chicago

I wanted to post some things here for you midwesterners. RFK is the premier Redskins Fan club in Chicago. The website is: http://www.fightforolddc.com.

Check out the site it is pretty cool. We have a bar now called Maeve (the Fedex of the Midwest) which is located in Chicago around Lakeview.

I have only been a member the past few weeks, but the turnout is awesome. After every score you can rest assured that, "Hail to the Redskins" will be blasted over the speakers with everone in the bar chanting. Last week there were probably 40-50 of us Redskins fans there and probably 2 Bears fans, we have completely taken over the place.

Specials are 1/2 priced bottles of wine and $3 Draughts and $15 dollar buckets (6 bottles). If anyone is in the Midwest we welcome you to visit, it truly is an oasis in a Desert of Bears/Packers fans.

I will be posting some pictures from the Eagles game for proof that we rock! :lol1:

Thanks for sharing, that place looks awesome with all those skins fans. I'd love to find a place like that in va beach, but every place I've been to is pretty much a mixed bag, Steelers or Giants.

Well the bartender is a big Redskins fan. The place is actually just a small wine bar, so it does not draw that big of a sports crowd which makes it the perfect venue. On Sundays we pretty much can pack the place. The place does not even have a kitchen. Some of the lovely Redskin ladies bring all sorts of appetizers in and we have some kind of main course. Last week it was shreaded beef sanwiches and the beer can turkey.

I was not from VA however after talking with some of the members of the club (we are all new members) it really makes them feel at home (since most are from the DC/VA area). Truley a great time!
