Way too early for such a poll. Romo looks pretty good so far, though.

Is this the stupidest (yes I know it's not a word) poll ever given by espn?

Basically I look at this as ESPN showing there love for the cowboys organization, when TO was picked up by the Cowboys ESPN automatically deemed them a superbowl contender, when Romo finally got his start they boldly compared him to possibly the best QB in the NFL in Tom Brady. Now what this poll will be is incredibly inaccurate, how do you gauge the success of a guy that has not played a down against a guy that took most of the snaps the past three years in preseason for the cowboys and already has three starts and has played in four games this year, you cant, and no matter what you will never get an honest assumption because every cowboys fan will just vote for Romo and for some strange reason they have alot of fans that have never even seen Texas. Honestly if I had to vote I would go with Campbell, he came from a big time program, hes 6'4" and pretty mobile and has a cannon for an arm, not to mention he has won at pretty much every level he played on, and even after all that I still wouldnt feel comfortable joining in on a poll that seems to be set up for BURGUNDY & GOLD vs. SILVER & BLUE, none of us would vote for Romo and no Cowboys fan would vote for Campbell, simply put, this Poll is rediculous.

That sig is amazing.
As for JC vs. Romo, Romo is much, much better at this point.

Stupid poll. Just heard Collinsworth on Dan Patrick(ESPN) saying he heard from a source high up in the Redskins organization that they were praying Brunell made it through the season. The implication being that we didn't think that highly of Jason, and he was nowhere near ready to play yet. He wouldn't name the source or anything substantial, but he was pretty harsh.
If I didn't hate him before, I really do now- D-head.

I don't think there are two TV/Radio sports personalities that annoy me more than Collinsworth and Patrick(Well...maybe Jim Rome). I can't imagine how frustrating it must have been to listen to that.

I hope your right but thats why I said "at this point".
Romo looks good on the field. Jason has not played a single down.

A high up source in the organization leaking that to the media, very doubtful. Besides, no one is ready until they get a chance. I'm sure nobody thought that Warner, Brady or Rothlisberger were ready yet either, when circumstances put them in the game. If so, why weren't they already starting?

Really? Then why did I get tore a new one in HS for using it in class? In an older edition of websters it isn't in there. but enough of this talk, my brain hurts.

I don't necessarily think the Collinsworth thing is that big of an indictment if it was said. I think most of us here were hoping Brunell would make it through the year if for no other reason then that means we're winning. Also, I think Gibbs has made it clear that if it was up to him Brunell would have played the year, again because that would have meant nothing was wrong in Redskin nation and Jason could have had a second full year to watch and learn.
Statements like this are stupid because they can be taken completely out of context.

My coworker said he heard this on the Dan Patrick show yesterday:
Cris Collinsworth said that a high ranking Redskin official told him that "if Brunell isnt out there we're basically dead, the other two guys cant play a lick" (paraphrased, but thats most of it)
Can anyone confirm this or explain what he said?
