Monocan Conference

Spurrier Division (Predictions)

1. Pregnant Parrots
2. Scuttlebutts
3. OrangeCrush
4. VACANT

Team Analysis

1. Pregnant Parrots

QB - Strong and Consistent (Brett Favre)
RB - Strong #1 pic (LT)... poss. strong reserves (Hearst & Pittman)
WR - Strong and talented (Moulds - Rice)
TE - Medium (Pollard)
PK - Strong #1 ranked kicker (Akers)
DEF - Strong #1 ranked (Tampa Bay)

2. Scuttlebutts

QB - Strong
RB - Strong
WR - Medium
TE - Weak (Shockey 2 tds last year)
PK - Weak
DEF - Weak

3. Orange Crush

QB - Strong
RB - Weak
WR - Weak
TE - Weak (wasted 3 TE's)
PK - Strong
DEF - Strong

4. VACANT (Ford's old team)

QB - Medium
RB - Strong
WR - Weak
TE - Medium
PK - Weak
DEF - Strong

Basically from this analysis it is evident that the Parrots find themselves in the weakest division in the Monocan Conference and fully expect to dominate it straight to the playoffs.

Any comments?

I couldn't disagree with you more on your analysis of Shockey. Even with only 2 TD's he outperformed (Yardage) some #2 WR's.........

Yeah, Shockey's definitely a top 3 TE. He'll have more TDs this year, and the yardage alone puts him up there.

Not sure I agree... he seems all talk and hype to me. He IS decent... but I dont put him as high as others have.

Todd HEap may turn out to be the best, or least I think he is

I'd take Heap over Shockey...Gonzo is probably still the best though...

Has everyone forgotten about Randy McMichaels? That dude isn't one to forget aout either.

Too inconsistent. I'd rather have Doug Jolley or Marcus Pollard.

I don't know, just speculating, but with Shockey's big mouth getting his picture plastered all over the mags in the NY area he could just become a sophmore jinx casualty.

Randy McMichael is inconsistant? I'm not sure I agree with you on that one. From what I seen him last year, he was just as good, if not better than Shockey.

As good as Shockey? He had half the numbers.
