the commish in one of my fantasy football leagues changed the pt settings after the draft. i decided not to pay the league fee because of this. a few of us did a few trades to stock one team to beat the commish and his partner in crime. the trades were def one sided, but not completely absurd. the commish allowed the trades, then reversed them after we told the commish of our master plan. i was hoping for some general thoughts regarding the issue. the main question is, who is worse? the commish or me?

Why go the collusion route? Just abandon your teams and let the league die.

If it was an upgraded "pay-for" league, you could try and settle it through the site[ Yahoo...].Otherwise,DJ has got the right idea.

i cant have yaho involved. it is a bunch of friends in it, which is prob the worst part. after the commish put the teams back to where they were, i waived as many people as i could and picked up as many defenses as i could. why? well, why not?

Sorry, but the title of "Worst Commish Ever" is currently held by Bud Selig. Your buddy can be "2nd Worst Commish" or "Worst Comish In All of Kazakhstan" though. ;)

Let the league die. I can't believe some of the moves some commissioners make. A league I left last year had a trade this year that was Larry Johnson for Brad Johnson and D'Angelo Williams. The commish got LJ. The trade isn't the worst part. That's that there used to be a vote in this league on trades and amazingly that disappeared this year.

thats amazing. so heres an update i think people will find funny:

so after i took serious heat (think almost on the same level as spitting on my grandmothers grave) from 3 people in the league (out of 8), i told everyone i would claim my players back when they cleared waivers. well, shockingly, 3 of them had been picked up, one of which by the leader of my 'resistance.' i pointed out that hes a hypocrite for pointing a finger, then taking ne def from waivers. now, one team still has heap and reggie wayne and wont wave them. ive made posts. ive posted in "smack talk" or whatever its called. i even got one guy to call him and tell him to waive them. nevertheless, he has still kept my wayne and my heap. heres the kicker: his buddy, who checked in for the first time this season to make this transaction, benched alexander and sea def right before the game to give his buddy the win by 1.2 points. i posted that i thought it was interesting and i wanted to see the reaction. yet, the reaction was barely a bleep. just THIS SUCKS by 2 people. so heres a question, whats worse? my actions, which i meant as funny, when i waived my team, or new guys actions, which he did to help his buddy win.

Sounds like everyone needs to grow up and act like adults.

Why are you even playing anymore? Dump your team and move on. What's the fun in playing when people cheat like that?

This is why I woudln't bother with FF. But if someone changed the rules AFTE the draft, I wouldn't pay a dime and just move on.
