I see that RAVEN RICK, ED POE and/or whatever they are calling themselves these days, have pushed the PUNK......woops, (excuse me) PANIC BUTTON:D!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always said that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I have been literally drenched in "Redskins Hate" for the last week (being a Baltimore City resident). I even had two people at work corner me near the copy machine and began to LAUGH AT ME and taunt me about my (our) team and how we were going to get KILLED ( I mean, KILLED!!!!!) on Saturday night.

Well, I guess that they were partially right. There was a jail break on Saturday that resulted in a horrible MUGGING. Oh, the only thing that these Ravens fans didn't count on.................that THEY WERE GOING TO BE THE VICTIM:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heh, wow, guess some people take it more seriously than others. I still don't think of it as that big a deal. Same thing wit hthe Carolina game. Oooo, the Panthers won for the first time ever against the Skins, congratulations. And guess what, Panther fans? Our starting QB threw six passes the whole game! Great victory, really.

It just doesn't matter much to me. The Ravens are trying to decide on a QB, they've never really had much of an offense to speak of, and it's the preseason. Yes, we outplayed them, and I'm very happy about it, but I'm gonna wait until the games start going in the win-loss column before I start bragging,

Over on the Ravens board they were saying how poorly the Redskins had played and how overrated the signings were, blah blah blah. Now, all of the sudden, the games mean nothing, the Redskins cared more, etc. etc. Too predictable if you ask me.

Good point JDS but it was good seeing our offense man-handle that awesome Raven defense that we were told would shut us down. I didn't expect much from their offense at all but I was glad to ours play so well.

Oh, it was nice, no question. But I just don't take many bragging rights from preseason games because I got tired of hearing "Wow, the Skins lost 20-0 to Carolina? They must suck!" really quickly in the past two weeks. It's impossible to explain exactly why preseason scores don't mean anything to people whose favorite team magically switched from the Rams to the Bucs in the past twelve months.

It was a preseason game. My group usually tailgates in a big way but we went later and just grabbed some food on the way.

I do love how the Baltimorons were judging the crowd and the game as if it were a regular season game. I guess they're used to it being a real game when there's only 65,000 people there.

There weren't as many as during the regular season. There was a rather big Raven tailgate down the way from us but they were no where to be found after the game. We were just about the only ones in our area after the game.

I just luv the class that we show on this board. They just whine about the game and how it meant nothing etc. etc. etc. At least when we have looked awful (win or loss not important during preseason though) we all come back and break the game down and see where we need to improve. I never see us getting into how wrong we were done or how "If only...." etc...

If the game don't mean nothing, then why complain and cry about a missed block or a penalty?

We at least have been hoping for improvement since week one and at this point we have seen a gradual increase. I just hope we can continue to improve as the season gets underway. Preseason does have a purpose..... We can see the growth in both the players and the coaching staff.

Hell, how else would we have known about what happens when you put the Offensive Coordinator up in the box. :doh:

It's not even worth responding to. I visited several boards and alot of the comments were about how bad the stadium was or the traffic or the video screens are too small. They should be more worried about their great defense being exploited by our offense. They also wondered why our fans weren't talking smack. It's only a preseason game gee.

I'm glad the Ravens fans didn't like the Funky 4. Their job is to pump up Redskins fans, not Ravens fans. If Baltimorons like the Funky 4 then our guys are not doing their job right. As we can see, however, our guys must have been doing their job very, very well.

Exactly. Harry (#2) ran into LaVar at the beginning of halftime as the team was heading to the locker. We didn't dance last week, and LaVar hollered at him "Hey, are y'all doing the dance tonight?" After Harry told him that we were, LaVar said "Good, we need to see that." That's what it's all about as far as I'm concerned. If it helps to fire OUR guys up and gives OUR fans something to cheer about, then our mission is accomplished. ^%$# the jokers up the road that may not understand that.
