Coles aside because he truely looks like a number one guy. I thought Gardner looked pretty good and Mccants looked good too, didnt really notice Jacobs .I was really surprised at Johnsons play especially on ST! Russell looked dazzed and confused. I also thought Woodcock made a couple of nice grabs.

If you were picking today wich receivers make the roster now?

Hard for me to say after this game since I didn't get to see this either.

Seems like after every game someone new looked good while the person from the week before didn't do as well.

Patrick Johnson's ST play earns him a roster spot.

I can't pick um at this point. I want to see McCants get some more touches though. I know he doesn't have the speed that P. Johnson has but I KNOW he has more sure hands. I hope he gets it together time is winding down. First cuts come tuesday....

Coles, Gardner, and Jacobs are locks. I think PJ is a lock simply because of St's and he will be the backup PR to Morton. Russell has got to step it up on game four. He is on the bubble and the needle is approaching. He did not play well last night at all, in fact, i really have not seen him play well at all. Flowers and Cloman have got to bea in the lead here.

I think they may only keep 5 this year instead of the 6 they kept last year. With the starting spots set Coles/Gardner the 3rd spot can be rotated between Jacobs, Russell, and Johnson. They could keep Cloman on practice squad and cut McCants. This would allow them a roster spot for an extra DT.

Russell's gotta have some solid play next week, otherwise he could very well might be gone. I agree that Johnson will make it because of his special teams play. Woodcock's kind of like the little guy that just won't give up. He's still got a chance. Other than that, I really don't know, it's too uncertain.

Yeah it beats the past few years of not having anyone other than Gardener.

I would have loved to see my boy Skaggs in the system with these guys. I think he would have faired better than in the past.

But I guess we will never know.

For the record, I think it will be........

Coles
Gardner
Jacobs
Johnson
McCants
Russell

with one of the newer guys going to the ps.

I think the top five is set.

Coles
Gardner
Jacobs
Johnson
Russell

Russell makes it even though he has Flem's disease(hands of stone).

McCants, Cloman and Woodcock battle for the 6th

Coles, Gardner and Jacobs are locks. Johnson as said because of his ST play. McCants needs more touches. He did make a great catch between defenders yesterday and stayed on his feet. Cloman and Woodcock are also impressing the coaches. Russel dropped several balls yesterday and that doesn't help him out at all.

I think the top 5 or 6 will be

Coles
Gardener
Jacobs
McCants
Russell
Johnson

I would be willing to bet that is what the final roster will look like. Cloman may make PS.

IMHO of course

We have heard so little on Russell this TC, I am somewhat surprised to hear that he is a lock to make the team.

I think MacCants will make it as well as PJ (because of ST play). Cloman may be eligible for PS.

Coles - Gardener - Jacobs
Johnson - McCants - ?

Russell - didn't have a great game but has been good in practice. Too much speed to let go.
Woodcock - Show up again and moved ahead of Cloeman.
Cloeman - had a bad game, dropped one and ran a poor route on another. Should last until Thursday's game
Flowers - So - so. Really on the bubble. Should last until Thursday's game
Dillard - Will be cut - probably today.
