Hester and Bush both have that extra gear. Even NFL would-be tacklers underestimate them.

Nope. Mark Moseley.

As much as I think he does. I wouldn't be surprised to see it come down to him vs. Brees. The Saints are good, but would be nowhere without Brees.

That's a stretch
Brees may be good, but LT is more important to the Chargers than Brees is to the Saints. Saints offence is insanely deep. It's scary.

you sure? It looks like they have depth everywhere but I don't see a way for one to tell if they have any depth at the QB position. Brees is throwing to receivers nobody heard/cared about at the beginning of the season, now they're all serious threats.
Last year it was Horn and Stallworth, this year it's Colston and Bush (yeah, he's more of a receiver than RB for them).

An NFL record 29 TDs with 3 more games to go? I have to agree with IBB on this, LT has it locked up.

In a different year, I think Brees would get it and I agree with you, he has definitely had an MVP caliber season but that TD record is pretty huge and LT is not done yet.
hmm I'm starting to think the Danny should send Redskin 1 out to SD to pick off some people in their personel department.

Yep, not even close. LT is the best player in the NFL right now and is making a strong case as one of the best ever.

I agree with you, but in all of this, Brees has a chance to have the most passing yards in a season, of all time. Marino has 5,084, Brees has 4,033 with 3 games to go. Its not out of his grasp, but he does have to average over 340-350 per game to do it. He faces Wash, Giants, and Carolina in his last 3 games. I don't even want to think about him against our defense, it can make even Spicy so sad....

Why do that? Danny doesn't want a GM or a real FO. He doesn't like planning, displipline or the deferment of authority. He wants a lap dog. Luckily for him, he's got the best in the business in Vinny.

Any other year and Brees would be a lock. This year, he'll make it closer than it should be, but LT has been insane. I think he's even THROWN for 2 or 3 TDs!

Chargers are an injury away from 6-10

That can be said for a lot of teams but not San Diego. Even without LT, they are a 9-7 wildcard team.
Take Brady away from the Pats and they are 7-9 at best. Take Peyton Manning away from the Colts and they are 6-10.

Agree about NE and Indy, but really how could the Chargers be 9-7 without LT? Rivers is good, but he won't be as good if he is forced to pass every other down. There was really only one occasion (the Cincy comeback) where Rivers carried the team. Every other game it's been LT. Even when he is "contained."

Probably because they have a top OL, one of, if not the best, TE in Gates and a solid D. Plus a very good runner in Michael Turner behind LT.

Obviously, we are speaking in hypotheticals here or counterfactuals, as Akh likes to say. But, I think that San Diego has a very good team that just happens to feature the best player in the NFL. Their defense is solid, unlike Indy, they have two other blue chip players(Rivers, Gates) at skill positions on offense, unlike NE, and they are a fundamentally sound team. Credit that to Marty.
This may be the best team Marty has ever coached and if he is ever going to win the ultimate prize, it will be this year. I wouldn't bet on it though. Marty is too rigid and he will get outcoached in the playoffs.

If the Bears had signed Randel-El they might not have ever had Devin returning punts and Berrian might not have evolved the way he has as the Bears second reciever. Sometimes the best aquisitions are the ones you dont make.

Our defense can make me sad all by itself..it doesn't need to face a good offense to do that...lol...
And re:Hester..damn..I saw a couple of youtube videos of him, and he is amazing..kinda reminds me of Antonio Brown...

Snyder should have that message surgically inserted into his brain.

Did Hester get a flag for taunting on the second one? I just saw the replay and THAT'S taunting, not hugging your teammates like the one Clinton got earlier in the year.
