Anyone notice as season is arriving our front-loaded schedule is getting easier & easier as Pendington's out, Vick is out. (With a little luck bothe could be healthy for their games with the rest of the division).

I'm making a voodoo doll of Kerry Collins and Brady as we speak. jab, jab, jab.

Let's not create bad karma with our own team as far as injuries to key personel go.

Don't coubnt anyone out yet, man. they all get paid too you know. with the parody in hte league a decent back up can take over and win. Vinny isn't some green rookie you know, he can getit done, I haven't seen much of Johnson too comment on him. These teams will not roll over and say " oh well" they will show up so we had better be ready

I was about to say the same thing Skins57. You can't count the Jets out because Vinny was the man before Pennington and I believe he can still get the job done. Plus they still have Curtis "My favorite" Martin as a RB.

Sure, sure...but it can't hurt any. Especially with 5 out of the first 6 games! being play-off teams. The sixth "non-playoff"? Superbowl champs two-years removed Patriots. Sheez thats a brutal stretch. (not to mention 5th hardest over all schedule)

Aren't the Bills seventh? Possibly the most improved team in the league, though their record won't jump much to show it, being in the AFC East. Man, that's a tough division.

Vinny's sputtering last year makes me think the difference will be noticable. Not incredible, not insta-win good, but noticable. And Vick, well, Johnson's shown he can play, but he's no Vick.

The Falcons game will be no gimme. Doug Johnson can play in this league and don't doubt for a minute he won't be trying to proved something to Spurrier.

Absolutely Agree ............ Let's not even go there BECAUSE SOME of us know that it will ( and usually does) come right back and bite us on the ass.

Everything aside, I am more worried about Vinny than Chad. Vinny is a seasoned veteran. He knows how to pick apart defenses which he will have to do against ours. Our secondary is to good to just throw. You gotta pick em apart and without coles, chad coulnd't have done a real good job of that. However Vinny, he can do just that with me at reciever.

I think Doug Johnson was 1-0 as a starter last year. I'd still rather face him than Vick, though. Pennington is undoubtedly better than Testaverde, but Vinny could still kick our asses if we let him do it. He's a statue back there. The key will be to make Vinny throw before he wants to do it. If we can get some pressure on him, we can definitely beat the Jets. If not, I think Vinny could lay 300 yards on us.
