I'd move either one of them really, but I voted for Watson. Betts might not be any better than Watson, but his trade value is higher. We could get more for him. I don't see much difference in any of our tailbacks, actually.

Personally I'd trade Betts in a heartbeat.

I'd move Betts for Grady Jackson--if the Saints would still do such a deal. Especially if I could get Jackson to reduce his overall salary.

Betts would be the ideal back to trade. We could gain a greater cap savings by moving him over Watson. I think the 2 backs are even right now, but I think Betts has the better burst of speed and best long term potential. He showed more explosiveness last season. I think Watson is closer to maximizing his potential right now, so I think when you look at him now, you get a much clearer picture of the back you are going to have for the long term, whereas with Betts, it's more of an unknown as to how good he can be.

That being said, if we have to run the ball between the tackles in the 4th quarter, I think we will be missing Betts the most.

Betts is the one I said as well..Watson as shown alot of heart...I just think he edges out Betts slightly.

Betts was my pick

My opinion has nothing to do with trade "value". I simply believe that Watson is the better all around back. Betts just hasn't done anything to impress me or to seperate himself from the others.

I agree especially for what round we picked him in.

I'd trade Betts. More value, and he hasn't really shown up this preseason.

I dont really wanna depart with either, but my choice if i had to woudl be Betts. I just think, given the opportunity, Watson will shine. If he nets us a good solid DT, then go for it.

Neither has shown much this preseason. Not sure why so many are higher on Watson? Call me crazy, but Betts' 8 yd burst on his second carry was the best run by someone not named Sultan in the preseason. He appears alot faster than Canidate running between the tackles. If he could get us Grady Jackson, however, then we probably need to go for it.

I chose to trade Betts as most of you know.

I been diggin' Watson since he stepped in for S. Davis last season.

I gotta disagree with this. Watson and Canidate both popped of 12 yard runs against the Pats, and you must have missed Morton gaining at least 10 or better on what I believe was his lone carry against the Ravens.

i want us to trade Betts and a late rd. pick to Detroit for Shaun rogers he is a young stud who had a bad year last season and could be a force for us. Rogers and chase would be an acceptable combo

i'd trade betts. teams might look at the fact that he is young with a good upside. also, i havent been too impressed with him, while i like watson. not to mention it will be awhile before i forgive him for that fumble against dallas last year. but then there was the int that was watson's fault vs dallas.

Everyone has to admit that they were pretty even last year. saying that, betts hasn't had much oppurtunity this season due to injury. I just can't see Watson becoming a spectacular back where betts probably won't but at least there is some potential there. However, moving betts would be better fodder. still picked watson though

I stand corrected then as far as best run goes. The Pats game was the only one of the three that I've missed. I was at Station Square in Pittsburgh at the KC Armstrong & Beetlejuice show.

Irregardless, this preseason is not the only factor in considering talent. When Betts got a fair shot in the Houston and Dallas games last year, he was explosive and extremely productive. Bottom line is that our other RBs don't have the potential to be an every down guy and Betts does IMO. Or he could end up out of the NFL in a few years like Mr. Potential, Lawrence Phillips. I'll concede that potential doesn't hold alot of water.

I think Watson is the best we have...I'd trade Betts for a good DT.

Detroit IS looking for a running back. They were after T.J. Duckett before the draft.

I like what rogers coukd do for us and would consider him a better player than Dalton.

I voted Betts, but it would really depend on the type of player we would trade for.
