Your Village Idiot has arrived.
Congratulations. The better team won.
I watched the game three times trying to find something positive to say about the Ravens, but I'm at a loss. The 'Skins slapped the Ravens around.
In short. The Redskins dominated the Ravens first team/s on both sides of the ball... and on special teams.
The scrubs... well they dominated the Raven's scrubs as well.
I was embarrassed for the Ravens. The Redskins embarrassed the Ravens.
Now... that being said, I still think that the NFL should schedule the Ravens and Redskins every year. Like next season, when it counts it will be a lot of fun.
-Peace.

At least he came here like a man and took his medicine. Good job.

Yeah, what Tex said. Tell those other Ravens fans to get over it. By the way, Boller should be the starter.

That he did.
Raven Rick, just keep telling yourself it was only a preseason game and next Sunday no one will remember this game.

Well done RavenRick. I for one appreciate you NOT going off and hiding although there are a couple of other threads that are asking for you - lol.
I agree with your assestment of the game, although I do feel your team did alot of damage to itself (sloppy play)....... As far as scheduling you ever year, I beleive that is in the game plan. It use to be we'd play Atlanta every year (preseason) but I think you'll be taking that spot. ........ Anyway now that the game is over, I hope your team has a good year (Still need to address that QB problem up there).

Good job Rick. Appreciated. Not many would do that.
In defense of the Ravens though, Boller is a wet rookie, he will develop nicely, but he is not ready yet. Give him a year or two in the system, learning to play pro ball. He has the arms to make it, just needs time and experience.
As for your defense, you guys have a fine defense. Not sure how we choked them so bad though.

It takes a man to step up and admit he was wrong.... But the play of Ray Lewis "alone" was a bright spot for the Ravens. The man is Back.... in a major way.
I don't care who your qb is but you guys should have kept Dilfer.

Good job Raven Rick. It takes some serious "cojones" to talk that kind of smack and return.
Personally, I don't have any problems with the Ravens, and wish them well as an organization. I actually rooted for them pretty hard when they won the Superbowl.
I DO take offense when SOME Ravens fans jab fingers in my chest boasting about how the Skins suck and how great the Ravens are.
I'm all for mutual respect and some light-hearted trash talk. Keep your integrity in-check and you might get upgraded from "Villige Idiot" to "Beltway Rival"

I routed for the Ravens in the SB too......I think it had a lot more to do with my hate for the Giants though.....

Man, good job Rick. Way to be a man about it. Now, if we can get your alter-Raven Fan Ed Poe to do the same:p ...................Anyway, you guys still have Ray Lewis and have answered (I believe) the question at QB. Boller isn't ready.......yet.

It is imossible for the Ravens and Redskins to play eachother every year, because there is a new system I noticed. Each division is assigned another opposing conference division. Each team in that division plays every team in the assigned division.
Did that make any sense?

Yeah it did GiG, I wish the Skins played the Texans every year so I could see them in Reliant stadium instead of crappy Texas Stadium.

My respect level for Rick has gone up a bit. Nice to see not all enemy fans are duds.

The Redskins will play the Ravens in the regular season every 4 years. Lucky for us year 4 is next year (2004 season) and we play them at FedEx. Other than that, it is funny how much most Ravens fans hate the Redskins. I used to consider myself a fan of both teams, the Redskins being my favorite, and the Ravens being my #2 team. Last year, I saw the Ravens vs the Saints at M & T Bank Stadium. When it was announced that the Giants had beaten the Redskins earlier that day and all the fans began to cheer, I no longer liked the Ravens.

most of you already know how much i "dislike" the ravens and the majority of their fans, but raven rick was gracious in defeat and should be commended. may i add that i think it is funny how i was listening to a ravens radio show and all they did was complain about fedex field. they talked about the game for like 2 seconds and kept talking about the stadium and how the PA introduced the ravens too quick and this and that.....

LadynRedskinsfan: I feel your pain!!!!! I thought that it was comical also. Actually, what I thought was even MORE COMICAL THAN THAT was how before the game, hundreds of callers phoned in and talked "major smack" about how thay were going to kick our arse and that this game means a lot to them (facing us, that is)..................and then after the game, after getting the living stuffin' kicked out of them.............after the embarassment of losing 24-3........after being dominated and pimp-slapped all over the field................MANY CALLERS CALLED IN AND WERE SAYING; "NO BIG DEAL, IT'S ONLY A 'MEANINGLESS' PRE-SEASON GAME.................AND THEY WERE CRITICISING REDSKINS FANS (OF ALL PEOPLE) FOR MAKING TOO MUCH OF THIS GAME. Man, I was in shock and LMAO at the same time!!!:p :p

Its the dumb stuff like that that pisses me off about other team fans. Before the game its a big deal and we'll beat the Skins. Then after the game its not that big of a deal and we were the ones that was making a big deal.
I hate that type of mentality. It drives me friggen crazy!

Umm, guys. I think that all fans probably do that, including Redskins fans. The fact is that the smack-talking callers from pre-game aren't calling in after the game. Those are different people.
Skinsfan: "... Way to be a man about it. Now, if we can get your alter-Raven Fan Ed Poe to do the same ......."
Yo, I posted in the Official Game Thread yesterday morning. I didn't eat quite as much crow as RavenRick, but neither did I talk quite as much smack as he did.

Food for thought, Ed Poe:
When we play you next year and win and you get called out, the best practice to ensure that everyone gets a public viewing of your dinner of crow will be to start a new thread, ala Raven Rick. That will keep everyone happy.
