I thought he played very well in the game on Saturday. He was actually one of two linemen that played the entire game and Trung's TD was behind him and Friedman. He didn't look like a rookie at all to me. I was very glad to see that. Plus, the guy is huge. He made the rest of the linemen look like receivers.

Yeah, Dockery played very well. Whiffed on a block that led to a 3-yard loss, but that sort of thing tends to happen against the Ravens. All in all, his most encouraging performance. The team might be okay with him starting---in December.

For a rookie that was admittedly nervous, he held up well. He could be the force to run behind. he is big, athletic, he could be our Tre Johnson of years past.

I think he has more atleticism that Tre, laterally anyway. Derrick can play tackle and I don't think Tre was ever envisioned out there, on either side.

I am more impressed with Friedman at center. I heard he played the entire game. Brown doesn't seem to be cutting it, so we should not sacrifice a promising lineman to keep him.

Good thing we a comparing him to Tre because his performance Saturday could have cost Tre a spot on the roster - I don't know just a thought.

I agree, Tre needs to get on the field. rskinsfan10 and I saw him in the tunnel before our performance and he was upbeat as usual. What is his injury again? Groin, achillies?

I think it is a strained achilles.

The NICE thing about Dockery and Feidman playing well at guard and center respectfully is that it means we won't have to suffle the line for injuries and such

He is a big guy. I heard Bostic talking about how good he was doing through out the game. I thought I saw him hold on Trungs TD run (check your footage guys). Once he gets comfortable he should help us and possibly take a spot..... ummm

I thought I saw that too Luv but if the refs don't see it, neither do I.

Well you were right about Dockery supplanting Tre...He got cut.

did anyone else catch the statement by bostic about the hold dockery was called for.... he said that "that is the kind of hold that a nine year veteran makes, not a rookie" i found this particually amusing.

George Starke [aka Head Hog] held on every single play. I don't recall ever seeing him not hold. If Starke was in on the play, he held. He only got caught 10-12 times a year. That seems like a lot of 10-yard penalties until you consider that he was guilty of holding on every single play. That's how a veteran does it. I'd like to think young Dockery is ahead of schedule.

Dockery didn't supplant Tre'. Johnson was so off the radar he was invisible. He and Rod Jones make this team when R Kelly dates a girl old enough to vote! When we follow along with our Team's new mission statement, overpriced, injured still and used to be, ain't in the plan. Since the mini-camp, Dockery has been in the top 7 of our O-Line.
