Just wanted to mention and get your thoughts on 2 guys who I thoght were outstanding among a great team effort.

Ohalete- He was all over the field, made a nice deflection on a Boeller pass intended for Todd Heap..

PAtrick Johnson- Earned himself a roster spot with fierce ST play. Also had a couple catches and took some hits afterward showing he can hold onto the ball.

I was also very impressed with Freidman and Dockery.

Your thoughts?

Johnson did well against the Ravens, but he fumbled a punt and dropped a few passes against the Pats. So far I'm not impressed with him. Consistency issues probably explains why he has bounced around the league so far.

One game performances shouldn't guarentee any player a spot on the team. Consistency is what we need. I'm tired of players who look good one week and then disappears the next.....

Not a big fan of Patrick Johnson for all the reasons Kenny enunciated.

agreed. That's our motto this year. CONSISTENCY.

Another to add to the list was Zellner. I still would have like to given Cloeman another week before handing the job to PJ.

Your right Patrick. Zellner has done nothibng but help himself out. Matter fo fact, I am pretty happy with Haley, Zellner, and Holsey. Still woudl liek a bona fide starter, but these guys are putting up the effort.

Don't forget Chase. He'll be in the rotation, if not starting.

I was also impressed by Friedman and Dockery. Makes you wonder if we really needed to spend big bucks on Thomas then. Hmmm. Depth is always key in O line though.

I think Denver is getting desperate, Jeff. Dalton's agent, too.

I'd feel better with Dalton or Rogers or Jackson in the mix, too. I don't think that Ravens game was a fair test of our defensive line. Baltimore's utter lack of a passing game allowed the defense to stack the line, shutting down the run and getting extra pressure on the passer. Not too many teams will send raw rookie quarterbacks at our defense this year.
