During the early part of the season before we were pounding it out, our offense was woeful. That helped keep the D on the field for large stretches of time. When we play Redskin football we control the line of scrimage, the clock and the amount of time the D is on the field.

Better team won. Every time the Rams needed to make a play, they made the play [except for their kicker]. Great, great game by Bulger and Jackson. Two big, big plays by Stephen Davis. Redskins deserved to lose in regulation, not overtime.

Yep. 579 yards for the Rams vs. 300+ for the Skins.

Let's face it, our defense is just a total sham. The effort is there, the talent - and probably the schemes - simply aren't.

Offense is showing promise under JC. I think they'll do well next year. BUt defense worries me a lot, because I just don't know who we bring in, how we fix the schemes, etc. We'll see.
