New user here on the forum!! I got a call last thursday from the redskins, stating that my season ticket number came up. I got my two seats which are in section 419 along with a blue parking pass, I've been down a couple of times (from PA) and know the lower level pretty good, can someone tell me how many rows are upstairs? Also, is the blue lot any good? Is it easy to get into and out of? Thanks alot and look forward to this season.

Congrats lakewinola! How long were you on the list?

Someone else will have to answer your question regarding the seats. But I wanted to welcome you to hR and we hope you'll be hanging around....

There are 29 rows in the upper deck. Blue parking is the least favorable reserved parking and is not located on the fedex field grounds.

Been on the list for only 5 years

Welcome aboard!

419 is not a bad place to start out at, what row did you end up in. Row 29 is at the top and IS a hike. ...... How long did you have to wait to get you tickets?... For me it was a long 19 years.
I started out in the upper deck with two ticket in row 21. In four years have been allow to upgrade twice and add additional tickets - now have 4 and have made it to the lower section. Hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

I'm in row 26, way up!!! How did you upgrade, did they approach you or was it something that you had to keep asking about.

Welcome to hR lake..... You are sooooooo lucky. I wish I had season tickets but I will have to settle for the tailgate.

We will be tailgating before the Giants game. By the way, check out the tailgate tread. We would be glad to have ya come by. Don't let this be your last post!!!

Patrick, since you have 4 seats now and someone in your party cant make it, let me know and I'll volunteer myself to take one of those seats.....LOL;)

Don't worry about where you started, Lake. I'm a season ticket holder in section 414. We got our tickets in 1997, the year the team moved into the stadium. We've moved down once. Every now and again you'll get a chance to move down. If you can swing it financially, I recommend doing it. Sounds like your parking situation isn't ideal, but that's to be expected. You'll get a chance to improve that, too. It's an all-day deal at the stadium and you just have to be patient sometimes. It would make the entire project much more enjoyable if the Skins would just win a lot of games for once.

Like Spence said, you'll have your chance to improve your seating. I would make one recommendation, after the season is over, send a letter to the ticket office so they can put you on file as requesting to be upgraded.

Welcome to hR Lake, glad you joined us here. The blue lots aren't that great but you'll get a chance to upgrade later. Enjoy the games.

Everyone saying they wish they had season tickets: Just look in the Washington Post classified for Redskins tickets. You can easily get good face value season tickets. I do it every year!

Welcome aboard, lakewinola. You said you were on the waiting list for 5 years?

Damn, people must be giving up there tickets left and right then.

I was on the waiting list for 22 years. Of cource, that was also during when the Skins played at RFK and they were winning alot.

I signed up in 1979 and didn't get mine until 2001. I have Orange parking, right up close to the stadium, but if you can upgrade to Green parking, that would be just as good. The Blue lots are new this season because of the parking that was lost when they tore down US Air Arena to build a shopping center.
