I keep hearing that this deal is still in the works but no real details. What are you guys hearing and what would it take to see Ladell Betts in black and gold?

It wouldn't make sence now that we've added Martin and Dalton. What are you hearing as far as what we want in return?

News to me as well. Now that we have Dalton, we don't need to trade a back unless it's for a rather draft pick next season.

Who knows. Word was that they were talking all weekend about something, but now that the Dalton deal is done it doesn't seem to make sense if those talks are continuing.

You never know with our FO however.

Maybe it wasn't for a DT. You guys have 4 RB's and want to keep Sultan on the roster. You also want to recoup a draftpick after the deals you've made. Maybe it would be Betts for a pick, or a backup OT. Who know's! All I know is they're still talking.

I wodul doubt it. Spurrier seems determined to go to the season with Betts and Watson onthe team. I think Dalton's trade killed any dealing of a RB. I personally feel ok abotu our middle fo the defense now with Chase, Dalton, Haley, and Holsey. My worry now is DE

Well, I'd make another deal if the price is right. I'm a bit of a fanatic about the defensive line. Teams with good and deep defensive lines seem to win a lot of games. Your girlfriend can never be too pretty and your defensive line can never be too deep.

I wouldn't mind trading Betts for a pick...We keep Sultan and recoop another pick that we'll end up most likely trading for another player in the offseason...

Thing is, we used a 2nd on Betts and I doubt we could even get a fourth for him now, so we might as well hang on to him and see what we got

Well, I don't see him going anywhere now. Someone has to offer a very good pick for us to consider trading him now.

Hey, im sooooooo glad we picked up Dalton!Now our interior d-line is pretty sound.I feel like Dalton,HaleyandChase will be a solid 3 man roation inside.
Here's a question for ya.Who does NO have at DE?Because i would trade a back for a solid,not spectaculer DE.Too be sure we could get that if not a pick,but as stated above probably only a 4th though.
If theyve got a decent OT, CB, or a really good ST's guyw/a pick they could be worth a look.
Watson can be #2,Morton and Sultan could vie for 3 and 4 and we could cover some potential depth problems for this year or next.Heck we could use a TE too.
