Math SAT scores are the highest EVER since they started documenting them in 67.
Kind of hard to think that Bush is killing the classrooms and "leaving children behind" like some have expressed here.
Proof in the pudding. And the pudding is saying the kids are getting smarter. Guess he's doing something right after all.

Please, for the love of logic and the Continental Congress, take the time to explain to me and everyone else here how in the world you think Bush, after being in office for two years and running Americorps and Teach for America into the ground, is responsible for the higher SAT scores. Give a thorough explanation, you need it for this. If you can say this about Bush, then I can say that Clinton is responsible for the economic boom of the nineties and that Gore did indeed invent the internet. I don't believe either of those statements, but following your logic I might as well.

It's sarcasm. See, in other threads people have poked fun at Bush saying he has done NOTHING for the school system etc. A lot see Clinton as a god and have indeed said that he is solely responsibe for the "boom" in which you speak of. I actually don't think there is too much a direct correlation in any of these things, but this is more a retort to others blasting bush and public schooling.
If Bush is responsible for "allegedly" not funding enough schools, how are the SAT's up? It would make sense if kids didn't get good teachers, or enough classroom space, that the test scores would go down. Not reach an ALL TIME HIGH. I think Bush with his "no child left behind" program has a small say to this, but can't take credit for all it. Just like it's not his fault the unemployment rate went up.
