i was reading another site and i read that Dalton was carted off the field today. they think it has something to do with the heat or the altitude difference. it was reported on 980.

That sounds a little crazy. The trade was just completed a few hours ago and he would have to pass his physical first. I have to wait and see what is going on with this one here yo.....

Not too surprising. He hasn't practiced recently because of the trade activity. It was hotter and more humid in the DC area today. I'm not surprised he couldn't finish his first practice here standing up.

I wonder where we stand on the salary cap after this trade. That would suck to have this happen at first practice but I can understand it.

He was able to speak to reporters after it happend. I think he will be alright. He said he didn't eat all day, a body like his needs all the fuel it can get!

I'll bet he was working 110% on his first day trying to impress the coaches and players. I know I would be....
The Heat probably caught up to him. I'm not worried.

Can we buy some luck at DT?

I have to agree with dj on this one. He was probably going the extra mile and just spent himself.
Its all good.

Bottom line is, he WANTED to be here, was excited to come to DC, and knows that the starting DT roles right now belong to Haley and Holsey. H eknows he has to earn the spot and I am confident he will.

Don't forget the alltitude change as well for him. He said he hadn't eaten all day only had gatorade. Plus he's not in football shape having been kept on the sideline by Denver.
By the way, I see Comcast Sports is rerunning the game tonight. Rave TV, what a crock. Siragoosy is in the booth too.

I wouldnt worry much either.I subscribe to the theory that he was going all out and im sure its nowhere near as hot or humid in Denver. He will be fine and IMO we will reap the benefits wait and see.

If it wasn't for BAD LUCK for the defense we wouldn't have any luck. Hope this stops here and now!
