Does anyone know what is going on with Oakland and their salary cap? As of around Feb. they were 49mil or so OVER the cap. (and the worst in the NFL) Have they gotten rid of all that cap trouble? If so, how? haven't heard anything about it.

They restructed many deals and released a few players to get under the cap. I don't have the specifics. The cap is in effect every day of the year, so there is never a time when they, or any other team, can be over. If they do, they get fined, lose draft picks, etc.

I think next year will be worse for them. They have been caught with their hands in the cookie jar one too many times, and the tax man will cometh, and that right soon.

WOW...they must have a great team of magicians on their hands to get rid of 49 million of salary cap problems, and didn't seem to lose any BIG names.

Snyder did a damn good job getting rid of the 2000 cap problems. Hopefully this is something he can repeat each year.

Then again, since Snyder has taken over, NO OTHER team has a higher turnover rate. (that includes coaching staff I believe)
