Ted Johnson practiced in full contact drills soon after receiving a concussion. He blames Belichick for making him practice. Interesting read though.

PFt pointed out something interesting. This supposedly happened in 2002, and Johnson retired after 04. If Johnson was so bad off because of the concussions, how come he tried to make a come back in 06?

I'm surprised Ted Johnson would cry to the media like this. He's an adult. He alone is responsible for his health, and to blame BB is pretty bold on his part. How do you make a guy the size of Johnson do anything?
Must be bad blood between the two.

Belicheck is a tool, and I fully support anyone who agrees with me. That is all.

A ball of string and a KFC Bargain Bucket should do the trick...

nothing new about that... it is just that our recognition of concussions is more sensitive now..

Maybe the concussions clouded his judgement.

Here is an article about the 85 Bears. I did not know Wilber Marshall was in such bad physical shape.

NFL players take a monster beating if you think about it. They deserve to get paid as much as they do because they are giving up their health for our entertainment. Unfortunately, they're going to get beat up pretty bad and they (Ted Johnson) have to realize that they agree to that as well. It's not all about the green.
