SWEET! The draft day two years ago was alot of fun. I was really disappointed last year when we didn't have one.

It would make sense to have one this year because there is a high first round pick. If they trade down, they pick up another first day pick to extend interest, and if not, then you have a big time player picked at 6 that can be helicoptered to the stadium after the pick.

probably, but it will be over pretty quickly, what the hell else will there be to do after we draft Alan Branch

by then we will have disposed of every pick except the number 1.. watch and see...we will use the second day picks for reserved FA's..

I'm trying very hard to have enough "grasshopper" like discipline to ignore free agency and the draft. It's my way of protesting my own personal weakness of getting way too excited and as result buying in to all these pricey offseason acquisitions....

Maybe they are waiting to see if they can trade away our first pick too, and then set the date directly for the 29th..

Psh! A minor detail my friend. Besides, Dave Mike Jess and others were contributing to my delinquency. "Bruce" the bartender (For some reason he was wearing a bruce smith jeresy) even offered to give me a drink on the house, but I was a good kid. Besides, I had more than enough at the Post Draft Day Party... ugh, I still might be recovering.

So any news? My chances just decreased, as I might have something with my roommate, but we are working on making it another weekend. We shall see.
