Yessss!
Afternoon naps cut risk of dying from heart attack by up to 64%
Researchers who examined more than 23,000 men and women in Greece found that the those who took a midday nap of 30 minutes or more at least three times a week had 37 per cent less risk of heart-related death, over a period of about six years, than those who did not nap.

Another flawed research. Anybody who has time to take 3 naps a week, obviously has no stress in their life and that is the reason for the healthier heart, not the naps.

There are days where none of the supervisors are in, and the acting head is busy across the street, so we all catch naps in the archives lol.
umm...thats what I hear you know, something I heard on the streets or read on a blog. I certainly wouldn't do that in real life.

The study was done in Greece and Mediterreanean countries are for more likely to siesta even if they do have a job. Latin America too. It's built into many cultures. Still, they did point out that the jobless had a similar reduction.

Still doesn't help me, I'm lucky if I get 3 naps a year and at least one of them is because I'm sick or hungover. On the rare occasion that I have an empty, quiet house, I am expected to do some kind of home improvement project. Oh well, plenty of sleep when I'm dead.

My goal is to get to the point where I can nap for a couple of hours in the middle of the day. That would be sweet, lol. ANd I'd be able to work that much later. ;)
