No, you cannot keep swapping out your pitchers period. You can make changes if you want, but you can't juggle pitchers to puff up your stats. This doesn't apply to you but to everyone. If I have to, I'll institute a maximum number of roster moves for everyone.

Looks like Carmike is the only bad violator. Someone PM him and tell him to get his act in gear. He's got a good amount of talent and has a chance to win if he remembers he's in our league.

Big hint to folks like Rich and PGiddy: when you have players with a DL next to their name you can move them to the DL and pick up a player to sub in during their absense.

Thanks, jon, for agreeing to not churn...we wouldn't want this league to turn into a waiver wire war, that would ruin all the fun. But I commend you for your good strategy...always picking up pitchers scheduled to start against bad offenses. Very, very clever. And you're always welcome to make me an offer for anyone. It won't mean that I'll take the offer, but I'll always listen...unless I owned Utley, then it would take a 1998 Sammy Sosa to pry him away.

Hey man , don't let the m punk you , you can get as many pitchers as you want but you do risk losing te players you dump to some one else in waivers as well as burn up the pitching innings you get for the season if you keep changing pitchers. But it is your right to take whoever you want to take. It's called waivers, heck even a Commisioner shouldn't interfere with this as long as it doen't involve unfair trades.

To our Fantasy Baseball players

In order to address the issues we have been experiencing and restore your ability to play, we will be performing updates on ESPN Fantasy Baseball from Wednesday, April 11th at 8:00 PM ET through Thursday, April 12th at 8:00 AM ET. During this time the game will be unavailable. The steps we are taking will get the game back on track and ensure the integrity of the season will result in the following:

1) Revert all teams to their opening day rosters (Sunday, April 1).
2) Set the starting lineup of each team's opening day roster as the active roster for all games played to date (April 1 - April 11).
3) Retroactively apply scoring for the entire season to date based on that roster.
4) Void all transactions to date (trades, waiver pickups, roster moves, etc.).

Following these changes, all players not on a roster will be placed on waivers for 24 hours, and the waiver order for each league will be restored to where it was on Opening Day.

We have been working around the clock to fix the problems we are having to make the fantasy season the best it can be. We appreciate your patience.

I wouldn't mind having the 6 leet bats that I drafted right now rather than the 4 I'm currently carrying. Maybe then my team that had a projected BA of around .300 heading into the season wouldn't be in a collective slump at .250. At least I have the league's best 2-bagger though...

I realize that some people don't check often, but I can't see when, or even if, someone has checked out the offer. There's nothing wrong if you want to stash one guy on the DL to keep him away from the league, but a guy like Clement won't be back until august/september and if you get a sudden rash of injuries, you'll have to make tough decisions.

But if your DL is full and say, Sizemore gets hurt, you can't get a replacement without cutting someone so you can take Clement off the DL so you can cut him to put Sizemore on the DL.

I don't know why you would complain, Otsuka was drafted in the 15th round. Meaning you had an opportunity to draft him but didn't. After much discussion with people, here's the compromise plan:

Draft format: worst to first(standing as of today May 3rd).
*Everyone gets only one pick, after everyone has decided whether to pick up a player or not, CarMike's roster is locked with whomever is left on it. If Reyes or anyone is left after everyone gets their pick, so be it. No one left on the roster goes to waivers after the picks.

Rules for the draft:

*You choose which player you want, and offer a player up to cut in exchange. The value of the player must be close(drafted within 1 round) or close in terms of stats/ranking. If I disagree with who you offer to cut, I will give you 1 or 2 other options to cut. If you don't want to make the cut I ask for instead of yours, you get one other choice of a player on CarMike's roster. Same rules apply as before. If you still don't want to make the exchange I suggest, you get no-one from his roster. The player you cut for the player off of CarMike's roster is not subject to these rules and goes straight into the waiver pool.

*All moves will be public here in the thread. I will post who's pick is up, and you post who you want and who you think you should give up. If I disagree, I will post here who I think you should give up. And then I will post the move(and the player will be cut from CarMike's roster for you to pick up). Please comply with who you've agreed to release(or he will be released anyways).

*We start sunday at noon EST. Time limits for picks to be determined then(several hours for sure).

I think that would either create a never ending cycle where we'd have to make the draft multiple rounds or it would simply redistribute the top players as someone drops someone for Reyes, the player dropped gets drafted next, then the only person who has a chance to benefit is the person with the 1st waiver priority when it's all said and done.

What DS said. In order to keep the balance, you're going to have to give up equatable(close to) talent for whats on CarMike's roster. This isn't to say you won't be able to upgrade your team, but this isn't some dump of talent onto the bottom half of the league.

That is one of the criteria, but not hard and fast. Don't expect to get a player unless you're giving up a player who has very close value. Top 5 players require a top 10 sacrifice.

If my aunt had testicles, she'd be my uncle. McCann missed time this season, but is building another very solid season like he had last year. Varitek is falling apart. He's had a nice start, but word out of boston is that they're going to start phasing in Kottaras. Drew is a waste. He started out decently, but is hitting .181 in May. He's a nothing right now. Hall or McCann alone is worth much more than Varitek.

Thie league was over long before the all-star break, but congrats to DS for winning the league for the second time in a row.

I am just glad I did not come in alst, in fact I finished strong to get up to 9th!!
