you guys wouldn' believe what i heard about Dallas from some guy. He was stating that the Db's on Dallas were the best in the NFC east Division. I personally think that Dallas has decent DBacks but none of them compare to the DBs we have except maybe Terrel. What do you guys think of a comment like that coming from the Cowgirl cheering side?

Better safeties. Worse corners, at least until Newman proves himself in the NFL. Then maybe they're even.

It's hard to argue about Roy Williams. Darren Woodson is on the decline, but he still gets recognition due to his reputation.

If Newman is as good as advertised and we don't find someone to complement Bowen, then they might have an advantage on us. If Smooth doesn't show up this year, it will really tip the scales in their favor.

Champ/Newman - Champ hands down
Smoot/their #2 - Smoot, if he brings is A-game, or at least his B
Bowen/Williams - Williams (I'd like to see this change though)
Iffy/Woodson - Woodson (because of exp. I think Iffy will have a better year though.

They are certainly not the best in the division. I'd give them third because you can't unseat the Eagles until they prove their not. 3 pro-bowlers...can't really beat that. or at least until he have four.

Best in the division should go to Eagles with skins a close second. newman has got to show me something and williams needs to cover better. he is an outstanding run supporter though.

Close call. I think right now it's
Eagles
Skins
Giants
Cowboys

and the end of the year
Giants
Skins
Cowboys
Eagles

or maybe i'm just wishing the eagles go in the tank??

That says it all, end of argument. With that being said I'll add better CBs trump better Safties anyday.

One year experience between 2 CBs??
The better one is the rookie??
Philly & Us stocking repeating pro-bowlers??
Give me a break, Pittsburgh toasted those guys.

Bartender!! I'll have what ever the Dallas Cowboy fans are having!!

Cowboys have a very good and mostly young defensive backfield. So do we. I happen to think cornerbacks are more important than safeties, so I think our backfield is better. Theirs is good, though. Too bad Roy Williams cannot play quarterback.

As bad as our safety play has been, we can't boast about a wonderful total secondary. Clearly, the Dallas fan has no clue Philly is in the division. Its not even close. I may argue that our corners are just as good or better than the Eagles (Vincent is somewhat overrated) if Smoot plays fairly well in 2003, but thats about it. Brian Dawkins is one of the top overall players in the entire NFC.
