Broncos' running back Damien Nash has died after collapsing Saturday evening at a charity basketball game in St. Louis. Cause of death unknown at this time. He was 24.

His brother received a heart transplant last month. Damien created a heart transplant charity and was raising funds for it Saturday with several other NFL players when he collapsed. RIP Damien.

The Broncos also lost a player in that drive-by shooting a few weeks back. This is a double-whammy. Awful.

I was completely unaware that he was in the NFL, but RIP regardless. It is sad to see anyone die, and this guy sounds like he was a great person. RIP Damien.

Sad news. I hear more and more about the kinds of deaths happening as the years go on and it is usually someone involved with sports. Relationship with stress on the heart?

some elite athletes have silent cardiomyopathy.. sudden death is a risk

My gosh. This has been a depressing offseason so far.

I feel bad for the Broncos organization. Two deaths already.

yeah seriously this is terrible news for them. is there any kind of screening that can be done on athletes? there have so many cases of them just dropping on the courts and fields and dying. but rip mr. nash.
