Problem is that they might still not reach the finals. The west is just ridiculously loaded. You have the Spurs, Suns, Mavericks, Rockets, Jazz, and i'll even include the Lakers. Those are some talented teams out there.

why not? they're playing better ball than anyone right now and are winning close games, something they didn't do last year.

Yeah, they're pretty good. It looks like its their year. But you worry about a burnout from all their regular season success.

It should be a great series between the Mavs and the Suns. Hopefully the refs stay out the way.
