the check in the mail!!! My season ticket payment was due on March 31. I know they stagger the due dates so everyone doesn't have the same date, but for those of you with a March 31st date, don't forget to send in your season ticket payment!!!

When I got the invoice the date said Mar. 31st. But, then I got a reminder mail that said April 11th. Anyway, I just paid it the other day. I'm sure they have some sort of grace period. But, it's probably best not to try and figure out exactly what it is...

So why don't they take Visa? Probably that deal they have with Mastercard? Regardless I pay at the window in person...just to be sure. Got into that habit after my first and only year in the tailgate club and I was promised I could keep my seats regardless of whether or not I chose to renew. Good thing, because they told me I had to forfeit my tickets.... So anyway, I make the end of March trek to FedEx to pay in person. Nice excuse for an offseason trip down memory lane.

My dad renewed in the beginning of March...does that sound earlier than normal?

No, that's when the invoices came in. Most try to wait until the last week before paying, kind of like taxes...
It used to be that you didn't pay until July but the Danny knows the way to make money is to get it as soon as possible.

I wait til the last second since there's no reason whatsoever for us to pay as early as we do. Danny is making money from interest off our money. They get my fax the very last day they can. :devil2:

I have both in my wallet, but I think I used the Visa? Generally speaking, I can't recall a place that accepted one and not the other.

Considering that prices go up every year for this team and because the 'Skins have the most expensive tickets in the NFL, have you guy ever considered not wasting your money on tickets for a team that has no idea what they are doing? They have provided you with an inferior product for years now and they have the nerve to up prices? quite lame....

They didn't up the general seating prices this year.
But anyway, as long as Gibbs is on the sideline, I believe this team has a chance and I will attend the games. Once Gibbs retires, I'll probably stop going to all the games, though I will always attend a couple each year.

I thought mastercard was THE only card they will accept?

Wait, are you and Smoak serious? Based on your postings, I can't see either of you giving up season tickets.
What if we have a great season or two great seasons under Gibbs and then he retires or moves upstairs and we hire a great coach next?

Actually, I gave up my season tickets in '03. I've been buying my tiickets from another season ticket holder for the last 3 years. It takes me almost 4 hours in traveling each week to the games and Smoak travels even farther. It costs a lot money too. That is why I ended my season tickets in '03. I figured for the amount of time and money, I could get up Sunday morning, go play a round of golf or do something with my kids, come home in time for the game and still have more of the day left and have spent less money.
I've been attending every home game since '93 and the losing has really taken a lot out of me. Not to mention, the crowd has gotten a lot more belligerent over the years. I wouldn't take my daughters to a game now.
I came back because Gibbs came back and if he gets this team on the right track, maybe I'll continue on going to all the games but it is more likely that I just start going to a couple per year after Gibbs leaves.
Lastly, I don't like FedEx Field. The location is bad for me and the experience is less than thrilling. If they move back to DC in the near future, that might get me back to all the games.

You make a lot of great points. Your streak of always going started during some of our darkest days as a franchise. That would drive any man to drink.
