COMMENTS-

Raiders-Again, Davis chooses not to address the QB situation the way he should and goes for the freak athlete. They sign Carr before the draft for QB though.

Lions-Not as tough a choice between Quinn and Russell as some would think. Quinn's a more polished, NFL ready, QB with all the intangibles. Russells basically just a good college QB with the potential to be great and Quinns just a great QB.

Browns-Their thrilled Russells still availible and sprint the card up to Goodell.

Cardinals-Somewhat of a surprise here. Edgeran James is starting to break down a little but probably has a couple of solid seasons left. Regardless Wisenhunt see's a stud RB at his pick who is a perfect fit for his offense. If Thomas was still on the board the pick gets alot tougher.

Redskins/Vikings-The skins get a tough choice between Adams and Anderson. Personally id take Anderson but it's looking to me atleast like Washington will go Adams. The Vikings just take whichever ones leftover.

Texans-With Williams, Ryans, and now Okoye their building a young talented front 7 down in houston. Still peices to go but definetly getting better. Honestly I think they could consider Patrick Willis here. I almost put him there instead of Okoye. If that happened Okoye would go in the next couple picks most likley.

49ers-Very tough choice between Meachem and Willis. But they figure they've done enough to the defense in FA and go for another wideout for Smith.

Bills- A no brainer. They lost Fletcher and will take Willis if he's there.

Steelers-Somewhat of a surprise. Maybe a few picks before people thought he would go. I can just see this pick happening. The Steelers need Moss no matter what scheme they go. If they stay 3-4 they need to replace Porter. If they go tampa 2 they need a pass rushing DE.

Packers-After losing Ahman the packers need to be sure they have something of quality in the backfield to help Farve on what hopefully( ) is his final run. Going into the season with Vernand Morency is a risk.

Jags-It works out perfectly for them. They lose Grant in FA, and get a faster, more talented saftey to replace him. A DE is a strong possibility here as well.

Bengals-They've had terrible luck with linebackers. Devestating injuries, arrests, suspensions.

Titans-Norm Chow lobbies hard for Jarrett and with Meachem long gone Fisher and co. agree. Gives Vince a big young target to develop and grow with.

Broncos-With Moss off the board the Broncos take a pretty big reach. Spencer's the next best pass rusher(in a 4-3 at DE) on the board and the Broncos dont play around with this one. Maybe trade down a little but definetly pull the trigger on Spencer in the 1st.

Cowboys-With Jarrett off the board the decision get's less complicated. It's pretty much Ginn Staley (maybe Revis?) or trade down. Jerry cant pass up Ginns speed and Ireland and co. have him up near the top of the BPA anyway. If somehow Ginn and Staley were gone at this point(along with Meachem and Jarrett obviously) a trade down becomes option A if they can find a fair offer.

Patriots-Get some DB help and make a classic pats pick in Leonard. A guy who can do a ton of different things very well.

Saints-Payton and Gibbs help mold Houston into a star.

Ravens-Staley's the BPA here and they could use some tackle help. They strongly consider Stanton here as well.

Bears-They realize a strong oline is a key to winning and get Grubbs who many feel will be a pro bowl guard early in his career.

Colts-Who the heck do they have playing linebacker? They've lost alot there and need some help.

Nice job!
What makes you think the Skins would take Adams? We need a bigger DE to play the left (strong) side. Anderson would be the pick if the Skins were to go DE at 6th.

Very good mock, I still think the skins will trade down though, but still very good mock. Is a second round coming?

Thanks, im going to try to get a 2nd round mock soon. A 2nd round actually takes a little longer to make for me atleast because there's just more prospects to go over..... you see "more leeway" in 2nd round picks then 1st round picks. For example who would of thought Tavarius Jackson would be a 2nd round pick last year?

That's a pick I may have to do a little more research on. It just looks to me like the Redskins are leaning towards Adams right now. I suppose I dont have a set in stone reason for it. Both guys have alot of potential so it's pretty much a win win situation.(Of course nothings for sure in the draft though)
