I wonder if we'll try to resign Smoot now and try to get something for Champ by putting the franchise tag on him? I don't remember this being talked about as a possibility. The Smoot spin that is.

Smoot and Bauman are coming along nicely. I'm interested to see with the addition of Chase and Dalton if our Dline can put any pressure on the opposing QB's. If so we keep Chase and Dalton and get two 1st round draft picks for Bailey. Having a strong front 7 and forcing errors is better than a weak front 7 cause the WR will get open eventually.:banger:

Well, many have inquired about Smoot recently to be turned down, so I'm sure the FO has all of this is in mind.

Also, we know that Smoot will not/ should not cost even half of what Bailey is asking for.
