I have been very busy this year but this is my first shot at the mock universe this year. Let me know what you think.
Mock for 2007
1. Raiders-Qb Jamarcus Russell, LSU—Team will still suck but Russell is a no brainer.
2. Lions- OT,Joe Thomas,Wisc—Millen makes a smart pick on a bookend.
3. Browns- WR Calvin Johnson, GT – My favorite player and will be a stud on a loaded young offense.
4. Bucs- DE Gaines Adams, Clem – Time to get younger on defense.
5. Cardinals- RB Adrian Peterson, Okla –Edge needs a spell and AP cant handle the whole load.
6. Redskins- DT Alan Branch, Mich – Huge DT that can take on two blockers and free the conglomerate of LBs to make plays.
7. Vikings- QB Brady Quinn, ND –Tavaris Jackson was a prank right?
8. Falcons- DE Jamaal Anderson, Ark – DE is a priority for this D.
9. Dolphins- S Laron Landry, LSU—Playmaker. This D is looking very good.
10.Texans- DT Amobi Okoye, UL – Mario and the youngster make up a good line.
11. 49ers- OT Levi Brown, PSU—Big Tackle that will help Gore get 2000.
12. Bills- CB Leon Hall, Mich – Nate Clements…who?
13. Rams- CB Darrelle Revis, Pitt – Secondary is always a need for the Rams.
14. Panthers- MLB Patrick Willis, Miss –Morgan is always hurt. Great MLB.
15. Steelers- DE/OLB Jarvis Moss, FL—A reach but he can play the 3-4.
16. Packers- TE Greg Olsen, Miami
17. Jaguars- S Reggie Nelson, FL—Darius and Reggie will be scary good.
18. Bengals- OLB Paul Posluszny, PSU—Prediction: He will not be arrested.
19. Titans- DE Adam Carriker, NEB – Pairs with Vanden Bosch for nice tandem
20. Giants- RB Marshawn Lynch, CAL –Collection of RBs= no TIKI!!
21. Broncos- WR Ted Ginn Jr, OSU—Speed kills but so does no talent.
22. Cowboys- WR Dwayne Jarrett, USC—Bust. Eventually will take over for TO. Still bust.
23. Chiefs- OLB Lawrence Timmons, FSU- DJ and LT are fierce OLBs.
24. Patriots(from Sea)- CB/S Aaron Ross, Texas –Pats always look at secondary.
25. Jets- CB Chris Houston, Ark – Houston has very high potential.
26. Eagles – DE Anthony Spencer, Purdue—Do they ever not draft on the line?
27. Saints- LB Jon Beason, Miami—Fast LB to go with strong line and young Secondary.
28. Patriots – DE/OLB Lamar Woodley, Mich—Looks like a reach but it is the Pats.
29. Ravens- S Michael Griffin, Texas—Ed Reed is going to have my room to roam.
30. Chargers- WR Dwayne Bowe, LSU—They cant play the season with no WRs.
31. Bears- DT Tank Tyler, NCST—The other Tank is in jail.
32. Colts- WR Robert Meachem, Tenn –Peytons present for winning the big one.
