My guess is, if both are hurt during a game, Rod Gardner, who played some QB in college and HS, will finish the game, and then Hamdan would be elevated after the game to start the following week.

Most teams are DONE if their top 2 get hurt anyway.

This could wind up wither biting us, or making Spurrier look like a genus.

I'm upset to hear about Kenny Watson. I bet some team picks him up before the week is through. I heard a rumor today that we traded Betts for a 3rd round pick and a safety, no idea what team or what player, just something my brother overheard. Anyone know if there is any truth behind that?

Initially when I heard this 2 QB thing, I thought it was ploy to keep both Sultan and Watson. I thought they would eventually move Sultan to the practice squad after a game and bring Wuerfel back as the 3rd QB. I'm a little upset about releasing Watson.

its unfortunate that he had to go, but he was caught up in the numbers game as they say. i hope watson goes to team that i can tolerate so that i can cheer for him. now, who outta these guys will be on the PS? i say....

wow, I thought the 2 QB idea was to keep Watson. WTF??? This looks dumber by the minute. The way teams are going to line and blitz the crap out of us, we should have kept 4 QBs. You know the Eagles are licking thier chops, thinking of all the blitzing they can do and we can't seem to stop with only 2 QBs

We could use Brian Mitchell now as a third QB and a returner. This is wierd

Some of the players that they choose to keep other than a 3rd QB or Watson or Clifton smith are questionable to me. Franz and Grant? I don't know how well they are using that extra spot by cutting the #3 QB.

Maybe the 3rd qb spot is for one of our dlinemen since we have a good bit of them now. Or maybe there is someone on the waivers that the skins are interested in? Akili Smith anyone:whoknows:

The third QB thing is a bit worrisome.... We'll just have to see what happens. What really makes me wonder is cutting Watson....

It seems as if they cut Woofell to make room for Sultan. I don't like losing Watson but I didn't like losing Stephen Davis either. I just don't like seeing the players that I really like leaving. After all of these trades and moves made over the off season and training camp, I would hate to have this be what blows up in our faces. We should have kept Brad Banks for the practice squad.

Watson will do well if he gets into a good system. If he goes to the Saints he would do ok.... I hope Sultan developes well.
