Orange and Maroon Effect Day

I knnow this doesn't belong in Cherokee, but I wanted to reach as many people as I could in case anyone is interested in shoing support for the VA Tech family in the wake of the tragedy from Monday. Tomorrow, the VA Tech friends and family are all wearing orange and maroon to show support for the friend and family who lost loved ones in the massacre.

You can't find any Va Tech shirts in stores in my area (which isn't far from Blacksburg). I had to hook up 6 other people with shirts from my own collection.

We are all Hokies in my house and We are all Hokies on Friday!

I was wearing Maroon and Black today, like other Hoosiers here in Indiana today in rememberance. I have no problem wearing it again tommorow (Orange and Maroon that is). Thanks for letting us know.

I couldn't find the long sleeve orange shirt, but I do have an orange golf shirt with a redskins tee underneath. I just hope that the victims of that horrible and sensless tragedy find peace in their heart and in remembrance of their loved ones...

My thoughts are with the entire VA Tech and Columbine families today.

My campus is having a day of rememberance. We are having a mass in our chapel, a candlelight vigil and other things to remember all of those effected

got mine on....we at the hospital made it VT day today so the staff are all wearing it...I got my burgundy and orange...

I have to say that I was touched by the number of people in Delaware who participated given that it wasn't highly publicized.
