'SKINS CHOOSING BETWEEN LANDRY, ANDERSON

A league source tells us that the Washington Redskins will draft either safety LaRon Landry or defensive end Jamaal Anderson with the No. 6 overall pick in the draft.

Per the source, the 'Skins actually have defensive tackle Amobi Okoye listed higher on their board, but they believe that they greater needs at safety and defensive end.

The Redskins are not expected to do a deal with the Bears for linebacker Lance Briggs, which would have moved the 'Skins to No. 31. However, even if a trade could be done for Briggs, it's our understanding that the Bears don't want the No. 6 overall pick because they believe they wouldn't be able to trade down out of it.


Between these two guys at 6 Anderson is a better need IMO, Landry is probably a better value...guess we'll know soon enough. I say somebody better have made sure Anderson is real good if we take him at 6, I might prefer Landry, what do you guys/gals think between only these two at the 6 pick?

Well we've always wanted them to draft for need atleast that's what appears to be their thinking, but who knows maybe they'll go Moby I'll be happy with any of the three but 6 seems high for anyone else other than landry to me...

ehhh, Landry is ranked 6th best, then is Amobi 7th, so if they take Amobi 6th it would be THAT big of a drop off. Even if he plays like ed reed and turns out as good, we dont NEED him. Id be happy with AMobi unless he turns out a huge bust, and i will regret everything i just said.:banghead:

Skinsred I would rather trade down and fill depth at areas of concern but as for Okeye or Anderson I think the article from PFT hit it on the head Okoye may be better but we may need Anderson or even Landry more so...
