If you watched the draft today you probably saw that DirectTv was offering the Superfan package upgrade free if you bought or renewed your Sunday Ticket subscription by midnight tonight. Yet I go to directtv.com and there is nothing to be found on this offer and furthermore if you follow the links to the Superfan page it says it isn't available for purchase yet. I don't know what is up with this but I went ahead and re-uped anyway to at least get the early bird savings of a whopping $20.00. Now I can afford that yacht I was eyeing last week lol.

Anyone got any info on this that I am missing here?

if you looked at the small print is said for first time customers only not exsisting. I called and no such offer had been made except through email to a select group of fans.

Thats Directtv's motto you didnt know. Actually like once every time my contract runs out I call direct tv and asked to be put through to a customer service manager. Then i go off on why in the hell people that are NEW customers are getting all the breaks and that I am no longer under contract what do i have to do cancel my service and become a new customer again to get some upgrades. Then i tell them i think it is a bunch of crap and they should be able to do something for loyal customers like me and if you arent the guy who can do it then please put me through to the guy who can. Last time I got free upgrades of all 3 of my recievers and I got the new HD Dish for 99 bucks of course i had to reup for 2 years, but with them having the Sunday Ticket its not like a fan like me could go elsewhere.

i have to try that.. i have been a loyal customer for at least 5 years

i will say that the service is far better here in wash than in louisiana.. every time it rained the screen went out--even with the elliptical dish.. since we moved here, it never goes out

Last year all you had to do was complain about not wanting to pay the 100 for Superfan, and if you complained enough they gave it to you free. I know of quite a few ppl who did this. Its extremely easy to do since you really dont want to pay for it anyways, so its easy to get upset about it.

I have yet to do this since i dont even have Sunday ticket but i have been thinking about upgrading to Sunday ticket.

Them and every cell phone company and anyone else that requires a subscription, typical. Oh well just thought I would throw it out there and see what transpired. Thanks for the info DUCKIN.
