Chargers to go with two QBs

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- If Drew Brees and 40-year-old Doug Flutie both get hurt in a game this year, the San Diego Chargers will have to scramble for a volunteer to put in at quarterback.

Because of numbers crunches at other positions, decided Sunday not to keep a third quarterback. They're keeping four specialists and four tight ends, including former Kent State basketball star Antonio Gates, who hasn't played football since high school.I just found it ironic that our former coach and his GM have decided to do the same thing. :D

Well i'll be damn what do i know then?Maybe i've been selling Daniel and Steve a little short.i personally liked Marty just not his being the GM too.I think in SD Butler offers nice balance so if they saw fit to make this same call atleast that gives it some merit.I just hope Ramsey runs this O as effeciently as Drew runs Marty's,(our's probably being more complex of course).nice to hear though.

I think that the falcons are running with 2 qb's at the moment with vick listed as their 3rd. its essentally the same thing, just with one less roster spot. I also heard something about the bills going into the season with just bledsoe and Van Pelt..

Yes, the Falcons are going with their 2 QB's only.

Oh, and the Bills just cut their #3 QB and will make a go of it with only 2 as well.

Of course, these teams are smart while the Redskins' FO is a bunch of bumbling idiots, or hadn't you heard?

If we could just put one good season under our belts, i think it would calm all of my questioning of the FO.I just am tired of the constant change and fear will run all legitamate player's and coaches away if we dont start winning and being more consistent.This tends to make me question the reasons behind wy we do what we do.I'm just using how things have gone from the end of the Norv debacle up until now as a barometer.
