The Redskins signed five players to their practice squad, all of whom were in their training camp this summer.

DL Nic Clemons
WR Scott Cloman
QB Gibran Hamdan
LB Clifton Smith
TE Kevin Ware.

No surprises here. Im happy for Cloman. Im just curious why he was in the first set of cuts.....I guess they wanted to give him the chance to catch-on elsewhere.....

Glad to see Cloman back. Surprised that Woodcock wasn't signed.

I am too, considering Woodcock made more plays than Cloman did in the preseason...

Oooops, I just posted this topic, I should have looked better.

I too was surprised that Cloman was signed to the PS, considering he was in the first group of cuts, you don't normally see that.

They must have respected him enough to give him the chance to sign on for a 53 man roster.

I'm glad to see both Cloman and Clifton Smith back. I'm sure Sonny is happy about Clifton as well.

Hey, two names I really wanted to see, Cloman and Clifton Smith. Makes my day a little better.

I like the makeup of this list.Really liked Smith,Glad we got Hamdan back also.He can be our developmental guy that Spurrier wanted. They probably didnt play him so much,so as to be able to pick him back up for the PS.

Don't hold me to this but in an article in the post early in camp it said that Flowers wasn't eligable for the practice squad

Nope. The only actual cut i disagreed with was Ricot Joseph. Wander what the deal was there. He was good on St's.
