The pardon issue came up in today's WP because the judge is saying he won't let Scooter wait on his appeal on the street. That means the guy may be in jail in a few weeks. With an appeal that may or may not win the Pres will be under pressure to make a decision much sooner than he wanted to.

Clearly Scooter is the fall guy here but i just can't summon up any pity or compassion for the guy.
