How do you get it to go away? It's been like 2 days and i still feel like crap... everybody else that ate what i ate got better a whole lot faster than i did, completely unfair.

Not sure if there's a time limit or not, but when I got it they had to rush me to the ER. I had to have IV's put in for dehydration.

Not the best of times as I remember. I got sick on shrimp...lol

some times antibiotics and fluids are needed. call your doc.. or go to one of the urgent care centers..ER visit will likely take hours to get seen, so better to go to somewhere they dont see major trauma

Make sure you stay hydrated -- sip on some watered-down Gatorade or something like that. Hope you start feeling better soon!

When I had my bout with it about 7yrs ago, I believe it stuck with me for 3 days. I didn't have to go to the ER. Just tried to keep myself hydrated at home.

My oldest son went to Urgent care, they put him on IV fluids and two meds, one helped him not cramp anymore, the 2nd one kept him from throwing up...he was much better after he went on the meds, but as we all know it takes a few days

One thing I learned, Michael said his lips were numb, that's when we took him to Urgent care, they said that he was severely low on Potassium and that caused the numbness, that's what the IV's were for. Never knew about the Potassium thing

Well, its day 3 and I still feel bad. I'm convincing my brother to drive me to the doctor tomorrow so he can fix me.


Nobody go to Harris Teeter btw, "neighborhood friend" my butt, more like "we are going to poison you".
