Great job Spence!
I agree that New England will surpise many this year... I think people are taking them way too lightly.
Will anyone upset the Bucs defense? I dont think so. (As long as they win Monday night).

I completely disagree with New England...but it's hard to have a power poll right now sicne we have no clue. I do think that Buffalo will beat New England this week putting a wrench in the New England #2, Buffalo #9 theory.
Other than that, it seems remarkably close to last seasons ending poll. So the first week will mess things up a bit for this poll. (as to be expected). Other than that...good job spence.

It appears, I forgot to say why with New England, otehr than the Bills will beat them.
The reason why is thier schedule. They play in THE TOUGHEST division in football...and the winner of the division will have a 9-7 record. The Jets will steal one from them, so will the dolphins, and I think teh Bills will sweep.
They have a good team, but I don't think they will make the playffs in that division. Bills and Dolphins will make it, and there will be no room.

I disagree Jsarno... the Bills defense will hold them up. Everyone knows defense wins games... the Bills are the classic Rams team... a great QB - blazing WR's (if you count Josh Reed)... solid RB - but NO DEFENSE!
New England is average on Offense... but has a very solid D...
They and Miami will go from the East.

The records are almost identicle to last year's. Only the Raiders went 11-5 and the Bucs went 12-4.

The records posted are last year's records, not predictions for this year's records.

Have you been paying attention to their offseason? Two run-stuffing DTs (Sam Adams and another whose name I can't remember), Jeff Posey, Takeo Spikes, and now Lawyer Milloy. Their defense will be in the top half of the league, more then enough to let their offense win games.
