I was watching the current edition of Jaw's and Hodge's NFL Matchup on ESPN...and both guys showered Ramsey with praise.

Hodge broke down film of Ramsey during the 2nd Cowboys game, and praised how Spurrier ran a wonderful 4 WR set against a Cover 2 D. He showed two 3rd down plays in particular, in which Ramsey stood proud in the pocket, and let his receivers misdirect the Defense so he could beat the coverage and throw to the open 4th receiver. Hodge continually gave praise to Spurrier for a well designed play. (something us Skins fans NEVER hear about)

Jaws broke down Ramsey's pocket presence during the 2nd Eagles game. He showed how Ramsey was content in sitting in the pocket and moving slightly from side to side, opposed to leaving the pocket. On the plays he reviewed, Ramsey kept his eyes on the field, and with a few steps to either side, hung in there and made the throw. AWSOME!

It is so nice to see Ramsey get some credit from two of the top film breakdown critics.

But of course...to break my bubble, both Jaws and Hodge picked the Jets to win tomorrow night.

I'm gald to hear sooooo many EXPERTS pick against the Skins. It gives me more and more hope.

I saw Jaws praise Ramsey last year as well, and say they SS should stick with him.

Whoa, weird, good media on the Redskins. Isn't this supposed ot be a sign that a nuclear war is about to start or something?

thats weird. wasnt merrill hoge the one that said the skins wouldnt score 10 pts against the cards last season! jaws does give the skins props alot. it hurts me to give a former eagle any credit....

It time for experts to get on the bandwagon now, cause we don't want them after our great start

Wow, I'm flabberghasted that Hodge gave a few compliments to Spurrier. He lambasted him last year on several ocassions. Then, that verbal sparring session with Cerrato over Snyder's involvement on draft day. Maybe he's just going to ambush us later. Both he and Jaws are pretty slick though regarding true gameplay analysis.

yeah I saw Jaws give Ramsey props last season as well. I'm glad to see they can be objective when breaking the films down. Too bad their picks weren't objective.

It's hard to hide the facts that are apparent on film, so I am only mildly surprised they gave props to Ramsey. I am not, however, surprised they picked the Jets to win. As I said before, we need to earn the respect on the field.
