I was watching the current edition of Jaw's and Hodge's NFL Matchup on ESPN...and both guys showered Ramsey with praise.
Hodge broke down film of Ramsey during the 2nd Cowboys game, and praised how Spurrier ran a wonderful 4 WR set against a Cover 2 D. He showed two 3rd down plays in particular, in which Ramsey stood proud in the pocket, and let his receivers misdirect the Defense so he could beat the coverage and throw to the open 4th receiver. Hodge continually gave praise to Spurrier for a well designed play. (something us Skins fans NEVER hear about)
Jaws broke down Ramsey's pocket presence during the 2nd Eagles game. He showed how Ramsey was content in sitting in the pocket and moving slightly from side to side, opposed to leaving the pocket. On the plays he reviewed, Ramsey kept his eyes on the field, and with a few steps to either side, hung in there and made the throw. AWSOME!
It is so nice to see Ramsey get some credit from two of the top film breakdown critics.
But of course...to break my bubble, both Jaws and Hodge picked the Jets to win tomorrow night.
