Nope. That was the one year Dallass wore their darks for both games and we happened to sweep them in dramatic fasion that year.

i think light is a bit more visible to the qb.. i don t think dark is as easy to spot quickly, for what it is worth

I can't wait to see the first game with the skins in them jerseys. Hopefully along with the jersey they wear the yellow gold pants with the redskins R helmet. I cant wait till the start!

Hopefully the whole thing will look just like your avatar, Keino. I'd like to see the Skins helmet with the gray facemask, but from what I've seen on, it'll most likely be the Lombardi helmet.

It would make no sense for the team to bother to get both Burgundy and White jerseys for the 71 throwback knowing that Gibbs always wants to wear white at home. Thats my thinking anyways, I could be wrong.

Yeah, the unis are supposed to be BG but often looks red. I agree with some of you, I prefer deep burgundy. When done right we have the best looking jerseys in the league!

that would be a good idea. im not protesting them on the champ bailey situation, the jersey just has sentimental value to me. plus, the indian head logo is on the shoulders, and i like that too.

something that was interesting to me when bill parcells was going from team to team in the 90's, he changed everyones (NE and NYJ) jerseys, and even the cowgurls blue unis. kind of a change of the gaurd, we're a different team now. its more of a mental thing i guess. maybe if this is a hit, we should change them for good?

The 70th Anniversary unis they wore in '02 were not exactly the same as the originals they were duplicating either. The original true burgundy and gold unis with the spear helmet had no stripes on the jerseys, just numbers.
These throwbacks have the same amount of stripes as the original jerseys they are copying but the stripes are slightly different.
Please, tell me what you don't like and also tell me what the difference is.

Lots of teams including San Diego, Lions, Cowboys and Packers break out the throwbacks once a year. It would make buying this jersey more important to me if I knew we would wear it each year for an important game, rivalry, etc.

All of the Cowgirls unis are ugly and same with the Lions. I don't recall the Packers throwbacks, I thought they were basically wearing what they always have.

The Packers have used throw back uniforms when they play on Thanksgiving Day, which is when Detroit uses them each year. Below is an insightful site about the changes to Packers uniforms through the years right down to when they wore a special decal to honor a player (like Pat Tillman). Me too. I like seeing all of throwbacks with a new modern look to them. It's nice to see change once in a while, and I would like to see us wear a throwback uni @ least once a year.

I think that Joe G was responsible for ending the Burgundy and using that sort of Cardinal Red. He came from the Cards and must have liked their colors.

I am glad for the change up. Any uniform that is part of our history is cool. Too bad I bought a Landry and Fletcher of the normal modern uniform this off season. I guess I was too anxious. Man.
