I had an idea to do a MB league. I tried to invite other MBs to join a league and do a weekly write up on the action from the week before.

I've sent out several PMs to other Admins from their respective boards. I only received one PM back. That was from TheOrangeMane. [broncos]

Since know one seemed interested, i've decided to open the league up to hR members.

With that said. If you're looking for a league, PM me and i'll send you the info. first come, first serve.

That's right, you were ahead most of the year and I was playing catch up and ended up finishing 4th out of 24. The year before I was in first through the first 10 weeks or so before I got married and couldn't touch my roster for a few weeks while on my honeymoon. Then I plummeted all the way down to 7th...ha ha

I have commitments Wednesday and Friday nights but Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings are good to go.

Wed, thursday, and friday nights i work 7p-7a. Just a suggestion but if you are gonna do it on a weeknight Monday nights have a football game on TV that could give us something to chat about or watch while we wait on our next turn to draft. I would really like to be there for this but cant take off work for it(broke)

Sure, I think it helps to know in advance where you are picking, so you can sort of speculate what will be available and prioritize certain players, positions with the ensuing picks.

I think we all know that LT is the consensus #1 pick.

It's not so bad and I do like having the back to back picks. This year is tough, after #1, it is a total crapshoot. The next group of RB's all have question marks and if you take a QB or WR, then you will certainly miss out on all the top RB's.

Hey guys. It doesn't look good for me tonight. My computer caught a virus and I can't get IE to load. And I can't get onto the yahoo draft site using firefox. I do have my players pre-ranked so that should help speed things up a little, I hope....

I made it...I can't believe I still had a name or two on my list in round 19! I really like how my team turned out. Here's my starters:

I was able to pick up all 4 of my starting receivers in rounds 5-8 so I was very happy with that. With this many starters though, it can get pretty difficult to find quality depth. Bye weeks could really hurt some teams.

EDIT: Crap, I just realized I listed 4 different players from NFC East rivals! Not to mention Dallas' defense. I really hope my team sucks this year...haha

So after going 0-2 to start the year, someone lit a fire under McNabb and Westbrook who combined for 81.85 points on my way to a 183-109 victory over Canucks Ballers! That should be enough to put me among the league leaders in points although my recored will only by 1-2.

Are you talking about Kevin Curtis vs. Ronnie Brown? If so, Brown also had 99 receiving yards and a receiving TD to go along with his 112 yards rushing and 2 rushing TD's. Plus he had a 2 point conversion which gave him an extra 2 points.

Their stat lines:

Curtis: 221 total yards, 3 TD's = 40.1 total points
Brown: 211 total yards, 3 TD's, 2pt conversion = 41.1 total points

Wow, that's pretty craptastic. What's weird is that both of the undefeated teams are in the lower half of the league in point totals. One is 9th out of 10 teams in total points, the other is 6th. I see a shake-up in the league standings here pretty soon.
