It's probably cost me at least one championship by now, but I refuse to have Cowboys on my team. I just won't do it under any circumstances. Last year, in my biggest money league, I had a solid team that was in contention around mid-season, but I desperately needed a QB because CPep, Plummer, and Brunell weren't working out. Romo was just sitting there on waivers, trying to talk me into picking him up, but I just couldn't do it.

Sure, I missed the playoffs and any shot at the money, but at least I could sleep at night.

i don't agree with postponing it contingent on the suspension. when the deal was made, the suspension wasn't known. it'd be the same as if you made the deal saturday and Henry blew out his ACL sunday. crap happens. that said, the deal isn't that even in my mind, but i'm also of the opinion that if someone makes a bad trade, as long as it's not collusive, it should be allowed. to take that a step further, i don't think just the commish should have veto power. if a deal is made, let it through and let the league decide if they think it's collusive or not. my pay league has a whole process we go through on this to make sure no one accuses someone of collusion if we're interested in going that route.

I will look into that. Part of the problem is that the ESPN stat sheet is different than the NFL.com one. They use the NFL one for final scoring, but what you see on gameday and for a couple days afterwards is the ESPN one.

In order, to address your points:
I pmed csquared and informed him of Henry's injury before I offered the deal. Henry was fine and expected to start and play this week.
Boldin has a bad hip sprain and missed last week's game(and will miss this week's game and probably next game after that).
Henry was the leading rusher in the NFL, Bush was struggling. He will get more carries with Deuce out, but he's still going to split time with Stecker.
Points-wise, its an even deal. 130ish vs. 127ish. I do agree that Bush has some extra value because he's a young player in a keeper league, but Henry is only 30 and has a good 2-3 years left in him. Bush still has bust potential.

Texas has earned a playoff spot and can win the #1 spot wiht one more win. The only other contender there because of the tiebreaker is Rednecks who neeed to win twice while Texas loses twice and stay ahead points wise.

Rednecks and Mike Bass just need one win to make the playoffs.

The battle really is for the last spot. Sheepless nights and Man Love are tied, but sheepboy has an edge despite losing to me last week because of his overall points scored.

However Juice, Manginas, & Spongeworthy are in it as well. However they need help and Spongeworthy is really trailing points wise and probably wont survive any tiebreakers

Bozone Sheepless Nights needs to win and maintain his point lead over Carson Palmer to get the 4th spot, however with a 201.1 point lead all he really needs to do is win.

Carson Palmer needs to win and have Bozone lose or have the best fantasy point day EVER to overtake Bozone for the 4th spot.

So the Significant matchups to watch this week:

basically, here's the offseason schedule:
1-I'll set the draft order immediately after the season, worst to first.
2-You have until July to decide which 15 players you want to keep. I'll double check that, but I'm fairly sure you have until the day before the draft in august.
3-We'll then go through the issues/modifications to make, once those are settled to some extent, I'll unlock trading and the offseason begins.

3a-The format for deciding the issues will be that I'll post each issue in the league page, and once that issue gets 6-7 votes of support, I'll make the change it asks for.

I don't know why anyone would sign anyone, you still only get 15 slots and there's isn't much quality out there, nor is there much young quality. But if you want put Kelly Holcomb on your bench at the expense of someone else, knock yourself out.

point taken....I guess you could sign a guy that inherits a starting spot in the offseason due to retirment or something else...but it is a risk so I guess it does not matter.

yeah but if your 15 are all rubbish....but your right I doubt a guy that is in FA right now (350+ players ahead of him) would progress so far to get to the top 150 players

They will have the top 2 waiver priorities, but after their use them, they go right to the back of the line.

That issue is to be discussed later in the offseason issues. The proposal would be to expand the playoffs by 2 teams.

I don't know what picks the expansion teams would pick. If I had to guess(and what I would counsel them to do) would be to take the two middle picks(4 and 5 or 5 and 6) so that they get a decent stream of players instead of two at the top and then wait 20ish picks before their next picks come up.

Is there room for compromise here? I fully understand the rationale of not giving the potential expansion teams super high draft picks. But I don't think that they should miss out on the quality players either. Are y'all willing to agree to giving them the draft picks 7 and 8(between the nonplayoff and playoff teams)?

I voted no to the scoring changes. I like the idea of adding .5 pts per carry and reception, but I think the penalty for turnovers is too high. -2 works for me, maybe -3 for INT's, but nothing higher.

I voted yes on the point changtes as I felt that negative plays like fumbles and interceptions were under counted last year. To many times a guy who turns ina 3 td 4 int performance would get way too many points.

Despite the Redskin defensive philosophy, turnovers are huge difference makers in a game and should be counted as such

Ah, I get ya. It would be pretty easy to check though, you could just glance at everyones roster right before the keeper due date and proceed accordingly. Besides, I think everyone involved is pretty trustworthy (except this sheep person I keep hearing about) ;).
