I recently picked up an iPod Shuffle (2nd Gen) to listen to while running/exercising. I've noticed that the standard iPod earphones that came with it don't always want to stay in place when I'm running...plus I really worry about how well they'll stand up to sweat.

I've seen some "sport" earphones by Nike (inexpensive) and Sennheiser (expensive), and was wondering if any of you have tried them. How do they sound? Do they stay in place? Are they durable/sweatproof?

PS the 2nd generation Shuffle is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen! :D

i had the same problem but then i put them at an angle in my ear and it never happened again (like, instead of straight down, position them slightly forward). Some people also loop it around the outside of their ears (kinda like those really cheap plastic ones that wrap around the outside of your ear) but that looks kinda goofy.

I've tried a bunch of different headphones to work out with. The iPod ones are no good, neither are the foam ones you roll in you finger and let expand in your ear. I ended up with the ones that go around you ear like glasses.... they seem to work ok. I might get some that are a little better quality down the road, but the same style.

Yeah, I've got my eye on those. I'm hoping one of these days I'll find a good deal on 'em on the 'Bay. I figure I'll just use the ones that came with my Shuffle until my sweat fries 'em, then do an upgrade!

You need a pair that wraps over the ear. I have a pair and they are great....great sound, and they don't move at all when I am running.

They are Sony brand and I got them at Circuit City, I believe.
