pray..

the last cel phone i dropped in the toilet was a goner, but that is not even close to going through a full wash cycle

take it back and try and sweet talk the clerk.. not much else to suggest except perhaps next time you should buy one of the 1980's humongous motorola's.... (jk... i feel your pain)

Yeah dude, my only suggestion, if you want to be shady about it is just to go to the store and say it just stopped working (make sure it's not dripping water BTW) and see if they buy it. I wouldn't send it into the manufacturer because they can usually tell those things.

I thought about that, unfortunatley it has one of the colored dots that turn r ed when it gets wet.
Maybe I do need one of those old motorola bricks so i do not leave it in my pocket anymore.

Oh yeah dude, your pretty f-ed then. Ask somebody with an older phone that it's warranty expired if you can trade stickers... It is a sticker, right?

the same thing happened to me and I was all kinds of pissed. It still turned on but the buttons had a mind of their own and the time was in some alien language. I plugged it in to charge it (the battery was low) and it started downloading something... the next day it was fine.

I thanked the J man profusely :D

I googled "razor phone help wet" and got several hits. Here's what one of them said:

WikiHow details the steps necessary to save your cellphone after it takes an unexpected bath. The process is rather simple: 1) Remove the battery, 2) Dry your phone, 3) Soak in Alcohol, 4) Let your phone dry, and 5) Start using it again!

In the summer of 2003 I did half a lap in a public swimming pool with my cell phone in my pocket, and despite the claims of the Verizon employees, I was able to nurse my phone back to life with something very close to what's described here (I wasn't smart enough to use alcohol to dry out the water), so I can vouch for this. In my case, I totally took the phone apart (I really didn't have anything to lose, did I?) and laid it out, gutted, in my non-air conditioned, hot-as-hell Iowa City house, and three days later that baby fired right up. Though I'm in desperate need of a new phone, I'm still using the lap-swimming cell phone to this day.

Upgrade your insurance if they will let you. some plans protect you if its lost or stolen and then tell them you lost it. My mom loses hers all the time and gets a new one.

The girl I used to work with has dropped 2 cell phones in the toilet...the first one she was able to resurrect by drying the inside with a hair dryer, the other one was toast

This is why I always hand wash my phones.

I do believe I will try giving it a bath in some Bacardi 101, or maybe some Wild Turkey. I will try the Psopropyl Alcohol and let it dry out.
Thanks for all the responses.

Instead of soaking in alcohol, just take it apart and spray it with an evaporating contact cleaner or even the air cans like used for keyboards and other components.

Or you can throw it in the trash, cancel your service and be a little more free. lol

I once dropped a cell in a pot of chicken soup. The screen died, but the phone still worked.

Thought this was going to be about a different "razor" with the thread title lol. If you have phone insurance you probably would be covered because I tend to break/lose phones a lot. They usually don't do too much unless you have that type of insurance. Good luck.

One year ago this morning I was on my way to work and guy passed me and ran me off the road. He side swiped. I couldn't get my truck moving so the SPENSORED got away. Came to find out it was stolen minutes earlier before he hit me and ran me off of the road.

At least you're alright. You can get another cell phone/truck.
