I still had to close my eyes on the game winner, I guess JOhn will need a few weeks to break the years of FG fear I have developed

I and my very skeptical buddy Bill were both surprisingly calm and confident prior to the kick. In past years, he would literally get up and leave the room! Hall's the man. I loved to see Morton's confindence and competence in punt and kick return duties also. Finally, solid STs!!

3 for 3 and with a 50 yarder
A friggin 50 yarder!!! and I was as cool as I could be on all his kicks.
It reminded me of watching Janakowski at FSU. He was money from any distance. No Sweat

We really pulled this one off. I know we can score more points than that!!! I think we will be hitting our stride by game 5. I'll take this one.
John Hall is the truth!!!!

Schedule is scary now though. The Giants and Bills are the easiest teams we're gonna play in a while!

I couldn't watch the game winner either but I did. Boy was that sweet. We used the players we signed from them to beat them.

Reminds me of the days of Mark Mosely, when kicking was a sure thing. If only we could trust it to stay that way, I'll breath easier 'bout game 16.

Just as I said 3 field goals. Woulda had one more TD if they would've properly ruled that damn fumble by Testeverde a fumble. Thought that's what they were sposed to do is rule fumble, and make the challenge decide the play....thought that was the point? Oh well, it's spilt milk now.

Yeah - but I know you were peeking - did you not think it was hooking left?

I dont know BC.... I think the Falcons are in the same catagory as the Jets... without their QB they suffer... defense is the same. If we pick up our play next Sunday we should be able to walk away 2-0.
Then.... the hard part comes... 5 weeks in a row!

It is pretty sweet to sit back watching a field goal rather than sweating bullets....

...and remember folks, one game at a time. I think we have the team to do some real damage in the East but this team has to focus on the task at hand. There is no current history that should allow the Redskins the luxury of looking ahead...

MD...welcome to hR and thanks for joining our home on the web. Hope you stick with us. We have a great bunch of people here.
I agree on Hall. It is sweet to not have to yell at the TV to ask Spurrier to go for two when we score.

For some reason I was calm and confident before all of his kicks also. I never, and I mean never felt like that with Conway. It IS nice to have a solid Kicker for a change. It's a given, he will miss a couple during the season, ( not just him but even the best kickers ) but you know Hall is out there trying his best on every one and he has the leg. He will hit more game winners for us in the seasons ahead. Great move by the Redskins.

Yes I did. Kenny mentioned you spoke to him yesterday. Sorry I missed you.
