Man, what a difference a week makes. Some of us are singing a different tune already.

Anyone noticed how buffed Betts looked. Gotta love that on a running back. He may have some room next weak if we can pass protect cause the Falcons like to blitz but have a bad secondary so holes may open up.

Can we pass protect against those guys?

He played very well tonight. Very nice runs from both Trung and Betts. I still like Watson even though he's not here. I do think Trung needs to follow his blocks a little more. He seems to cut a little early for me sometimes.

Trung looks like he is trying to pop a big one on every carry. Some times you need to just stick your nose in there and gain 3-4 yards.

AH, welcome aboard the Betts express, boys and girls. I've been sailing around here all by my lonesome (except for PSF, I think) until last night. Sit back and stay a while, #46 will be our guy for many years to come.

H2S, come on. You know Watson didn't have anywhere near the burst of Betts. Did you see how he was hitting those holes? Like he could care less what kind of hurt was gonna be put on him. He fought for every single inch also, unlike Trung. As I've been blabbing all year, we've got a stud in Betts.

Might we try to trade Canidate?

No. They will continue to use RB by Committee and they should. They both offer different running styles that helps the offense. Trung had a decent night, except his blocking sucks. Don't fix what isn't broke!

I agree! Trung is still a good back and has great speed... give him one hole and he is gone. Betts is the solid man who will push the Dline around a bit. Trung gets them reeling on the heels... Betts bulls them over.

Good mix.

It's kind of crazy, but I found myself missing ole Watson too....

I wish him the best. Betts was a lot more impressive then he was in preseason and last season.

I thought betts looked awesome but I still prefer to have watson on the team over Trung and Sultan.

betts and watson were a nice 1-2 punch last season and I cannot stand watching Trung dance around before he hits the hole.

Betts had the same line blocking for him as trung and didn't have any trouble. so I don't see how the run blocking was crappy.

cut trung and re-sign watson. Sultan is still around for people who think speed is everything

jeez... this watson thing won't end will it?

Let's have DIFFERENT style backs. Betts and trung make a great combo. Power running was needed yesterday. Their will be games where Trung goes off and the opinion will sway again.

Let's be happy that this is a good situation to be in.

It takes more then one game to get me on anyone's bandwagon.

I gave Betts credit for his play last night. I thought both he and Watson played well for us and that we should have kept both. I support Betts because he's on our team but I'm not on his bandwagon.
